  1. As for the first question i don't think proof is necessarily required but you do need to state the history of your entry into the US on your I-129F form, perhaps at the interview stage they might require it more to verify your details.

As for the second question, to my knowledge, it is fine to include such things but they would be of a heavier weightage in the interview to show proof of continued communication. The MAIN evidence for proof of meeting in these 2 years are pictures/photographs, boarding passes, receipts, passport pages etc. THAT should be the main concern. If you would like to provide logs and etc it is fine, but not too many as well. It's not required for you to document every online exchange you guys have had.

What do they mean by lack of proof that the petitioner and beneficiary are legally able to marry? Are they referring to a missing statement of intent or?

  3. Hi all,

In the DS-160 for the K1 petitioner there is a section where I have to fill in my employment and/or student institution. I graduated last year, and am currently taking ACT/SAT tests for US colleges. I am not affiliated with any institution in doing these tests. What am I supposed to fill in? Do I consider myself a student or unemployed?

  4. Hey all,

I know that once you obtain your NOA2 you have to also include your original birth certificate to the interview. However, my parents are divorced and my mother has had a name change since the name she has registered on my birth certificate. Here's another thing, my mother also changed my name which means my current legal name is different from the name on my birth certificate. I have my deed poll to show my name change, but I wonder if I would need to bring my mother's deed poll to the interview as well? Because in the i-129F packet my fiance has to enter my mother's current name but I wonder if the consulate officers would wonder why my mother's name differs on the birth certificate versus i-129F form.
