Yes, I did read it.  You said the service doesn't work for K visas.  This is a specific topic in a forum specific to obtaining a spouse visa to come live in the USA.  While your story and information may be interesting to some, (It interests me as an option for some of my friends .  I'm a USC currently living in the Philippines. but have friends with no way to get back.) it is off topic in this particular forum, and your references to K visas is irrelevant to even your story, because there are no viable K visas for married people.

Yes, I just wanted to get the Philippines to be here for our newborn twins first Christmas. And I did receive my visa December 6, 2020 and arrive in the Philippines December 11, 2020. Thanks for your opinion. If I had four dollars I could use your opinion and the four dollars to buy a hot coffee.

I beg to differ as it is the opportunity to have the story in its context rather than bits and pieces.

Don’t BEG, it’s very unbecoming of you. I mistyped. It should’ve said it’s all about getting a spouse visa to travel out of the United States to the Philippines. I corrected it in the OP. There are no viable K visas for spouses and haven't been for a decade.  This is a forum devoted to US Immigration of by foreign spouses.  It is not about getting a spouse visa to enter the Philippines.  I do find the information of interest be definitely off topic.

You evidently didn’t read my whole post. I’m not saying that this process works for K-visas. I’m saying it works for an American to get into the Philippines on a 9A visa. Works very very well. So yeah there’s that.

And, it’s called visa journey. It’s not just a one-way visa process sometimes. So there’s that also

Now I am confused: from your reply this marriage won’t be legal whereas the first reply suggested that it was sufficient for the couple to be together for it to be be recognised or did I get it wrong ?

If you’re trying to do a K2 visa. No. There have been two fellows Drive here in the Philippines recently after getting married online with wet web and they hadn’t even met their Filipina spouse before that in person. That would not work for a K visa. But, an IR1, it would work for after two years of marriage

Regardless of how reputable the company is, USCIS does not accept marriages where both parties were not present in the same location, UNTIL or UNLESS the marriage has been consummated.  In this context "consummated" means there's evidence they HAVE BEEN in the same place physically between the time of the legal marriage and the filing of the petition to start the immigration process.

With this in mind, it usually makes more sense to just get married when you are together.

That’s if you’re doing a K one or K to or K something else visa. If you’re just trying to get married so you can go to the Philippines on a 9A visa, they work perfect.

My fiancé and I got married on October 4/5. It was the fourth and Oklahoma and October 5 in the Philippines, 2020. I submitted my application to the Philippine Houston Texas consulate and received it back December 6 and arrived in the Philippines on December 11. True story of course USA been banned at the moment won’t do you much good. I did receive a 59 day visa. Planning on doing a six-month extension in two weeks.

    Hey

Has anyone used their services and were they up to their promises?

I have read a similar thread posted earlier but no sound information about this company.

I am kind of wary as they are difficult to reach prior to the payment of their fee (although they seem quite responsive as soon as the transfer took place )

    Thanks

The problem is that they get so many inquiries every day that they can’t waste their time talking to people that are just trying to find out how it’s done what what  what.
If you email them they will reply even though it may not be instantly because they’re busy. They’re not just marrying international couples they’re  marrying Americans that are in separate countries also. Like an army guy in Germany wants to marry his girlfriend in Kansas they can do it. That’s actually how they got started in the business, marrying military folks that were stationed out of the USA.

the owners, Randy and CJ are great.

Only in America could a guy in Oklahoma get married to a girl in the Philippines with a marriage certificate and Apostille certificate issued by the state of Utah, officiated by a legal judge in Washington DC. Isn’t America great?
I gave them a five star rating all the way because we got married October fourth and I was in the Philippines December 11. Had to do a 13 hour quarantine in the hotel before I got my negative test results back from the NAIA international airport in Manila.

Which jurisdiction's law is "WedWeb" claiming to perform the marriage in? Details matter.

My wife and I were married by this company on October 4/5, 2020. It was the 5th in the Philippines. I received  my 9A Visa on December 6, 2020. Left Wichita Kansas on December 10,2020 and arrived in Manila December 11, 2020. Got nostril and throat swab test done at the airport no choice. You have to get the swab test whether you have it scheduled or not. If you have it scheduled already it’s faster. Cost about US$85. I only had to spend 14 hours at the hotel though before I received my negative test results. I highly recommend Wedweb. If you use them don’t forget to get the Apostille certificate. I just presented the packet of information I got back from the Philippines Houston, Texas consulate and I got into the country perfectly fine. They are a great company to get married by if you’re looking for quick ceremony.
section 19 of Philippine marriage law says that marriage is a broader allowed as long as the country where the ceremony is being performed allows and recognizes them the Philippines will also.
Course, since the USA got put on the Philippines band last till January 15, 2021 anyway, I guess it really doesn’t matter

COs from some countries want to see at least 125% anyway. The I-134 is only a tool to help the CO address the public charge issue, unlike the I-864 where there is a mandatory requirement.

I'm pretty sure I have to supply the I-134,  when I do my K-1, petition. Or at least supply it for her. I'm just not sure if it is 100% or 125% now after reading this.

. I'll just stick with 125% for now.   I'm pretty sure I have to supply the A-130 for when I do my petition. Or at least supply it for her. I'm just not sure if it is 100% or 125%. I'll just stick with 125% for now.

I had a thought regarding flights. If you can avoid Manila you will avoid a lot of chaos. I fly into Cebu then to CDO. It's a much better experience.

Yes I considered  that, but we are going to spend two days in Manila taking in some sites with her extended family there.  I want to go back to the American, Philippine cemetery where all the white crosses are and 50 columns for each state that has the names of soldiers killed during WW II in the Philippines.   It was a very serene experience when I was there in 2006 .

Got my United seat confirmation today. I code the same seat # on the Den-Mnl/Mnl-Den flights and same # on the NRT-MNL >,<.

Less than 19 hours each way total.

  10.    Hello Everyone.

I'm going to be traveling to Mindanao soon, within 6 months,, from Denver and on to CDO, via Den-NKT-MNL or the Den-HI-GU-MNL route. and then use PAL or CP, for the remaining leg. My soon to be official fiancee', even thoughshe claims she already is, will meet me there along with some of her Metro-Manila relatives. Her parents and daughter will be in CdO still. She and I will visit a few historical sites in Manila and have some time with her relatives there, for 2-3 days, before going on to CdO, to spend  9-10 days with her family there.

I got questions, so bear with me the best you can.

Background knowledge; I did a successful K-1/K2,  in 2007, but they returned within 65 days. It was nice vacation of total culture shock and FAST western culture for her. She wanted to go home, so I accpmodated them to do so. TAMPO scared me anyway and she went from 28 in PI to about 16 here. But that's the past. Just saying I have some experience, but know many things have changed and fees have INCREASED. I've already checked and qualified myself for the 125% Poverty level

****United has some nice fares out of Denver, but so do some others. I've flown them before, so familiarity counts. So does anyone have experience flying United from the 48 to PI?  My 2 trips before I used PAL, out of Vegas.

Any other recommends on airlines? Let me know.

Is $80-$100 USD still an average daily amount to prepare for spending? I mean with transportation fares and foods and the unexpected tag-alongs.

I'll come up with more questions later.

    Thanks,

    COUSA

  11. Preparing to go to CDO, Mindanao. Found a $900 r/t Den-NK-Manila flight for next month, Wanting to get the Person--Person part completed, so we can start paperwork ASAP.,

I haven't been on here in awhile, but in just looking it seems there has been a slowdown in processing times. Are K'1/2 Visas still making it through ok is my main question? I meet the 125% as of now and should still after March 1, 2019, unless the 125% goes up $7k

Another question, is St. Luke still the ONLY place to receive Health Approval?

Thanks for your help. Let the fun begin I suppose

  12. I got the passport ordered. I just did standard delivery since I'm not in any rush to hurry and didn't want to spend the extra $$$$. Took 21 days to get it from when I mailed it on March 22 to receiving it April 13.  I was very happy with that turnaround time for standard delivery since the website says 4–6 weeks. My honey ko and  I are learning a lot about each other. There are a lot of differences between the Mindanao and Luzon personality types.

It's exciting to be conversing with her, but she is a very poor woman  as she says and frequently Suggest that I am obligated to help her financially. I have sent her some loads for her phone and a small remittance, but her expectations of me are not always Mat suggest that I am obligated to help her financially. I have sent her some loads for her phone and a small remittance, but her expectations of me are not always met.  She recently had a case of the Dengue's fever  and has a 50,000 PHP hospital bill that she would like for me to pay. I suggested to her that wasn't going to happen. It's fun.

Just wanted to share the quick turnaround time of three weeks getting my passport standard delivery.

This is some of the worst advice I've seen on VJ...in my opinion, this is dangerous misinformation and it is probably a violation of the terms of service...

I'm just saying I would never admit to it. I would leave it up to someone to prove different. If I knew I couldn't pass a UA that would be an entirely different deal. I guess I should've been clear on that part. I live in Colorado so I couldn't  throw a clean UA.

Doesn't matter. A lie is a lie. And lying about marijuana use it can have the same consequences as lying about past felony convictions. What YOU believe on which lie is bigger doesn't matter. Also, your last sentence contradicts your points. If it is not a big deal then why even lie about it at all?

So if I used cannabis in 19 85 I should tell them that? I mean I won't be in that position of being interviewed and ask if I use cannabis, I mean living on Jamaica they are probably assuming you do use cannabis.

I was just asking because Bisaya women are VERY PASSIONATE women both good and bad. But I absolutely love it.

I will inquire when we chat next time. She seems to be very passionate, but very conservative also which I like. I'll make sure I ask her

Was your other wife from Mindanao at all? Do you know what is your wife exactly? I mean like is she Bisayan, Subanen, Tausug, or Lumad?

I've never been married to a Filipina I did a K-1 visa into thousand seven, but she and her daughter returned within the 90 day time.

We haven't discussed that or she did not share that information with me she is a Catholic girl from Pagadian City. Who wants to leave.

I can relate to some of that but I am younger myself (34) so we could be together for 50 more years if she doesn't kill me first (joking, or am I?). But have you guys talked about children at all? I am just throwing that out there because some women do want those rugrats.

I got that flak as well because I met my now wife at the tail end of my first marriage(we were separated), but honestly I wouldn't be where I am today without my wife helping me and supporting me. So I just discounted all that talk of "She just wants you so that she can come to the USA" because in all honesty if she wanted to be rich she would have stayed with her x-bf and not been with me.

Yes. We have and I would want her to have at least 2. It wouldn't be fair to leave her alone. It wouldn't be fair to leave her alone.

Well I'm never going to be attractive to a 35-year-old, white, 5'5", 120 pound female here in the United States. And that would be a whole bucket of drama too. I'm OK if she wants to work outside of the home and all of that. One of the things she focuses on is not having her own husband/house/family to take care of and of course the choices there are not on the same level she is.

I love it that my wife's town is so isolated and how Mindanao is overall. My wife was the same way trust me, she was getting ridiculed and laughed at because she was 32 without a husband or children and people thought she was old/washed up. You should come on over to Davao City while your there and we might could meet up and my wife talk to her some.

That would probably be feasible since we will be there July 5 through July 16. Everything right now he still in the primary stages of development, but by throwing it out there, that Motivates me and I get feedback from members here that are positive. I know I'm not picking the best time of year to go, but it's the best time that fits in my schedule.Motivates me and I get feedback from members here that are positive. I know I'm not picking the best time of year to go, but it's the best time that fits in my scheduled in order to get K-1 started.  I explained to her that at my age, we're not going to have 50 years of marriage together. I've already caught a small amount of flak because of it. The typical "she only wants to come to America." They say it like it's a bad thing. LOL.

I look around at the women five years either side of my age of 55 and I just don't need all of their drama. I don't need 3 Chihuahua dogs, two grandkids living with,  none of that. My two youngest are getting ready to graduate high school in May. They both have jobs maintain their grades at school and will be going on church missions soon. I've been alone since her mother died in 2002 pretty much as far as long term relationships ago.

Since she will be graduating culinary school in the upcoming weeksSince she will be graduating culinary school in the upcoming days,  I am sure once her work status is approved she will be able to get a job at one of the two hospitals here in the nutritional departments. There's a lot of possibilities for her in the city I live in. We even have an Asian market.

I just decided I could either die alone at a later date or I could find me someone that I had an interest in because of their culture, personal characteristics, and positive health traits and Help them become the very best person they can.

Also I haven't noticed a large amount of pharmaceutical drug abuse among a Filipina women. In the USA it's not always that way. People here take a pill to offset the side effects of the pill that caused them to be ill.

.I don't use pharmaceutical drugs other than insulin. Maybe using Viagra soon, but it is what it is. I would rather not have a wife who is dependent on three or four medications.

If you have time a horse drawn carriage ride through Intramuros is very nice.  The American Cemetery is also worth a visit.  I enjoy WWII sites so Corriegidor Island is also a great day trip.

I just posted something about that American cemetery if it's the same one you're remembering. It was very beautiful and peaceful there. I also did the carriage ride with the lady that I was there with in 2007. It was very fun. 20. I really enjoyed the PI/United States memorial cemetery there in 2007,   where they have the 50 columns for each state and each states veterans that were killed in the Philippines and buried there have their name on the wall. It's a very solemn experience to be there and see all of the grave markers.  It has a very interesting history of the US involvement in the Philippines helping them defeat the Japanese. I also enjoyed San Agustian Church. What a beautiful building that has withstood the test of time. It will be exciting to be there again. I kind a wish she wasn't so isolated, but 14 million single Gwapa Filipina women can't all live in Manila. This is a better picture of her. I think she's a very beautiful lady. I laugh that she thinks she's an old maid.  Pretty fancy looking old maid to me.
