As long as you have a legal marriage cert, and a couple of pics of the wedding, even without guests, you are fine there. Also be sure to gather proof of living together for so long, that shows a bonafide relationship. Things like joint lease and bills, drivers licenses with the same address, being eachother's next-of-kin on insurance, "congrats on the wedding" cards addressed to both of you etc.
You might get the CR-1 spousal visa in 10 months, but it can easily take 12- 14 months, so b prepared for that.

Hi, thank you for the response. Marriage Certificate would be in English so there will be no need of translation. Him and I both have a year contract remaining in the UAE so we are looking at 10 months after the marriage to sort the visa out. For the taxes, he is filing it regularly and I know he met the 125% poverty line as he is single (never been married).
