We're in Austin, TX. I remember filing the I-751 to Dallas, biometrics were done here in Austin. Although if I look at the I-751 address now it seems to only be in Arizona. 

@Mill&bill Did you get your biometrics yet? I see you wanted to travel earlier.

So we did biometrics, now I see the USCIS online status as:
Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview. As of January 6, 2021, we are ready to schedule your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, for an interview.

I'm assuming the interview date is going to be months away, any idea when?

So we got our biometrics appointment letter, the appointment is on 12/16/2020 (we are still in the US).

Thanks. Yes the I-797C states an 18 month extension. My worry was regarding the biometrics and/or interview, if it comes while we are out of the US.

Hi all,

My wife is in the US with an expired conditional green card (expired April 2020). We filed our I-751 in early March 2020, and got our I-797C a few days later (The case status page says Case Receieved). We havent received any communication from USCIS regarding a biometrics appointment or for an interview.

My wife would like to travel abroad to visit family (Nov & Dec 2020), and I would join her for Dec 2020. We plan to be back in the US before 2021. My question is whether this sort of travel is possible without any issues?
