NVC schedules your appointment, so the status will stay at NVC until your case has been scheduled an appointment. I wouldn’t worry about your PD date - your PD is current. Also; you need to take the originals and copies of all documents you uploaded to NVC along with evidence of relationship etc. They like to see all the original docs - but this varies from embassy to embassy so you should be able to find out online what your embassy wants. Congrats! 

Thanks a lot. But still confused bout the police certificate. Does that paragraph mean I will need a new one? 

I need help understanding the points I highlighted plus This email clearly states that i gave them all they required but my case status shows at Nvc, is this normal?

Okay so I told y'all I was gonna call as my case number was given to me over the phone on the 9th of march and no email yet, I called and they said they sent out the email but we didn't get any. I called again today and inquired , Same story they sent it already and I pressed on that we haven't received it only for her to read out the email address it was sent to on the 16th, turns out they put in a zero in place of an o !! In the email address, Please keep calling and verifying everything, we were waiting for an email that would never have come cuz of that little mistake . The agent said they will resend it within 1 week. Too many protocols I tell you. ...smh 🤦‍♂️

I am thinking of calling them to add another email address , that's for my agent. Do I do that over the phone or I have to email them ?

Called them yesterday, they sent out the mail already and said I have to follow the six steps accordingly. That is I have to wait for one step to be approved before proceeding to the next but the longest wait is choosing an agent which takes about 2-3weeks approval then the remaining steps just come one after the other but faster 

Lord this is frustrating 🤦‍♂️

Please who knows how long it takes to receive the mail? I called and already have the case number , it's a week now, no mail

Uscis approval-18th January 

nvc recieved-8th February 

called and got case number- 9th march 

 waiting for the email now so I can start processing the fees

Called and Got my NVC number on Friday.. sent a mail today requesting for my middle name in my application to be corrected... hope this won't delay my process. How long before I get the actual email with Nvc case number (packet 3) from Nvc?

I see your dates.. and nvc received your case on the 19/01/18 and case number soon after that. My case was approved 18/01/18 , nvc received 08/2/18 was supposed to get a case number on Friday but they transferred my case to a supervisor, i called them and they told me all these. When I asked for a time frame to receive my case no, was told between six more weeks, which will make a total of 3 months?!?! Is this normal or is there something wrong? Who else has experienced this please .

Hi everyone, my case was approved on the 18th of January, nvc received it on the 8th of February and was supposed to issue a case number this week, called last week was told to call back this week which I did on Wednesday, was told to call back today that they need sometime to upload my number it to the system, I just called and the representative told me, after asking for DOB and all that, that she's transferring the case to a supervisor and i should give them six weeks before I'll get the welcome letter?? Is this normal? I'm an I-130 filer

Okay so I just got off the phone with the nvc , said they haven't received my case and it takes about 6weeks. This is 2 weeks since approval... calling them again next week 🤣🤣... after waiting 7 months for uscis, you bet I will not give them any breathing space 

Quick question please, can the beneficiary call the nvc to inquire about a case number?
