Hi everyone, a very merry Christmas to you all. So we sent in our RFE and it's been received. Boo just came in so I'm having a very merry Christmas but he wants to take all necessary documents back to avoid further delays, I will get my police clearance and all we need but please who is supposed to write/draft and sign the affidavit of support? , my petitioner or someone else?

Okay here's the full reason for my RFE, I'm a k3/k4 visa applicant, we have a child together. Although baby has a U.S. Passport courtesy of the dad, they can't seem to find my 1-30 application and check, which we mailed them already. That's why I have been confused cuz normally my 1-30 is supposed to be approved and 129f won't be needed anymore. So the lawyer just pulled a copy of the 1-30 and check and is sending them back. I hope this doesn't send my case back to square one 😭😭. I want my family united ASAP 💔

Yeah that's what got us confused, cuz they returned some money that fiancé overpaid, so now we're suprised seeing that. But he will speak to the lawyer on Monday. Soooo frustrating and we got a baby 😍😢

RFE on 4th, got the mail notice yesterday 8th, turns out they misplaced the check😡😡 and other stuffs we barely understand, hopefully our lawyer will explain better . To all those who got RFE's it's a delay but looking at the bright side, it's better than a denial👍👍

How long before the RFE notice is mailed? Case was updated on the 4th still waiting for the mail

there is no 180 days limit first of all.

 

after rfe if you are approved you'll receive noa2. Then your file will go to nvc. NVC is stuck right now and sometimes files do go back to uscis for review. I saw some get approved again at this stage but I don't know about denials. Most likely I would say yes if you get noa2 you probably won't get a rejection or denial until your interview (about a 99%)

Now we've applied again only to get an RFE😡😡. ..my question is after USCIS 180 days, if you get approved does that mean it can't be denied or anything till the interview? Trust me waiting 6months before only to get denied was no joke 💔💔. That's why I didn't want to keep up with this one, that fear does a lot to oneself, believe me 

Hi everyone, so I have been silently following up, and today I saw my case number but got a RFE 😢. Who knows how long it takes once you've submitted the evidence to get an approval?!
