Guys!
Had my interview today. Went really well. The office was on time, the officer was a sweet lady with an accent similar to mine  
She confirmed all the information I put in I-485 and all the security questions. Then asked me about my previous visas, how we met, who was at the wedding. Asked my husband how he decided to propose and if he’s met my family. 
Asked us if we have any more photos but unfortunately we forgot them at home this morning. She said it’s not a problem. 
Finally, she asked to see my medical and confirmed that everything looks good and they don’t need anything else from us. She recommended us for approval and explained the ROC process. 
Overall was super easy and painless. I love Cleveland ❤️

EAD - 162 Days still nothing
 
Made 3 Service requests (2nd one was assigned to an officer wich they told me that my case is pending and that the cases are being reviewed in order they are received such BS!)
 
Contacted lawyer - no help
 
Contacted Ombudsman - got a response after 2 weeks that they contacted uscis and they will contact me back when they get a response from them.
 
Talked to a tier 2 officer - she said my case is pending and pretty much told me to wait as I made a service request on January 2nd

We almost have the same timeline. I'm also sitting on 87 days w/o my EAD/AP combo cards, but received a notice for interview just this week. It's getting harder and harder to tell these days who's getting what.  You can always call USCIS and raise SR just to see what's going on. You're not the only one waiting, some people here are on their 100+ days and still nothing. Try not to worry or stress about it so much. Just like I did. I was losing sleep and misplaced my cell phone and found it in the freezer an hour later, because of this whole immigration process! LOL!

Hi!!! Unfortunately, I haven't. Calling them is not helpful either. They couldn't help me not unless I have a SSN... I called USCIS and spoke to TIer2, the officer told me to call SSA.. when i called SSA. agent told me to call USCIS hahaha
 
My best bet is to just visit the office
 
 

no. i wish. Haha! Im actually feeling anxious because before we decided to stay here and filed for AOS, My husband and I booked for a trip and unfortunately tickets and the cruise are nonrefundable. It will be in May. I looked at Orlando timelines, and the processing time is very unpredictable. Lots of cases are still pending for interview  as far as Feb 2017 and some cases adjucated within 5 to 7 months. I'm so scared that what if the interview will be the time we are gone and we potentially lose what we paid for. just sad  I don't really stress too much about how long it will take because of the EAD. its just the timing of the interview.

I hooooope soo! every morning i always wish that when i open informed delivery, there's  a love letter from USCIS waiting for me! Haha

I am in day 84 with not updates either. It's hard to understand why for some people the process is fast and for other take longer. Hopefully we can get some good news soon. But meanwhile, let's enjoy our  free time. I am sure we are going to miss it. At least, I know I will miss mine.

I got the interview appointment letter today. Still no sign of / no update on EAD/AP. My interview is on 2/7. Very happy.

I'm on 82 days and still no sign of my EAD/AP cards.
BUTTTTTTTT I received a notice for an interview! I thought it was RFE, because in the informed delivery I only saw 1 mail instead of 2. I was so sure it was RFE and not my combo cards and I wanted to cry, but it turns out to be the interview notice.  I'm so happy right now!

Went to the Miami Gardens SSA yesterday to update my social security card, my previous number was kept. They just updated my name, address but i think it will still have the valid for work only with DHS authorization on it. I took my passport, marriage certificate and EAD card with me as well as a completed SS-5 application. Didn't make an appointment, arrived at 9am and was out by 9: 40am. 

Hey guys we jus got my Work and travel permit card in the mail, we were really surprised since we didn’t get any kinf of notification of approval before so ot was a good surpriSe to end the year 😊

I got my EAD card in hand today!!!! So it took 3 days from I received my approval notice.

I got a notice today dated December 15th and it is an interview notice!
I thought it would be for the EAD/AP but no, an interview.
It's January 19th in Cleveland which is less than 3 months after my PD.
I'm freaking out already mainly because we have almost no new evidence since we filed only two months ago.
Any advice?

Thanks hun and no, I had a social security number from 3 years ago when I was a J1 student so I didn't select that option. So next Tuesday I will visit the SSA to update my ss card to reflect my married name.

It's ur EAD card, that's where I got mine from and I received mine in mail today. Same PD as you too...just adjusting from a B2 visa
