Hello,
my dad has his immigrant visa interview early January this year and it’s been under READY status ever since. Also, they returned his passport aces days after his interview then.
what are the expectations and may he get a decision made during the pandemic?
any idea, please as the US embassy is it giving us a clear answer.

That has nothing to do with the president. That is simply the inner workings of USCIS. Administrative Processing happens to everyone. Some take longer than others but everybody goes through it.
Thanks sir.

Wait till you hear back from them would be my guess.
They have the ability to re- issue the visa but your wife will have to do another medical, pay the fees again and have an interview again.
I got the same response but I'm under administrative processes since Dec/2019?
What that means pls

We didn't sued uscis or embassy , I got this response there days ago and I'm getting it since 26/12/2019 after I sent the embassy my personal informations.
Why do you think that our case is in USCIS , the officer told me that they going to send my case to Washington DC.
Hopefully I'll get visa soon , and I wish so for your fiance
Got this response three days ago

When did you get that response? Did you get it these days during covid lockdown? So it sounds like you guys sued USCIS not the embassy correct? Is your case is still with USCIS? That means that they are rushing to resolve and come to a decision and I’m pretty sure it’s in your favor!

How long have your fiance in AP ? Have been for 20 weeks without update till today , they asked me for additional information such as social media, passports numbers ,familiy members info etc. they even kept my marriage ,and birthday certifications and my status says READY for interview.
I got this response from embassy lately:
"We are escalating your case for final resolution and you will receive a follow up email with further guidance.

You don't need to, your post has already been split into its own topic. As for your question, no one can say for sure how long Administrative Processing will be, it can be weeks or it can be months. If you've submitted what the consulate has requested then all you can do is wait
Thanks
6 hours ago, SJordanS said:There is no telling how long. This is pretty much most people who are interviewed at the Jordanian Embassy where are you are Kay one or CR1. If you have Facebook there is a group for Jordanian embassy members that you can join where you can talk to many people like yourself in the same situation it’ll be good for support if anything.
Thanks

You can upload it as additional document and it will not hurt your case or you can bring it to the interview in case they ask.
