That’s awesome! And relatively quick for Boston!

Did you receive an update on the app or just the letter in the mail?

I just received the letter. In the app it still says that my case is ready to be scheduled for an interview.

My EAD and AP is still on the state 'Case received'....is that suppose to change at some point?

The DS3025 doesnt have a validity other than the vaccinations completed on it need to be what was required for you determined by your age group and prior vaccination record AT THE TIME OF THE MEDICAL EXAM. Your DS3025 IS tied to your medical though and would need to be replaced by a I693 if it was filled out longer than one year ago from the date of applying for AOS and you were using it to satisfy the vaccination requirement.

If by chance, USCIS comes up with some requirement that a new vaccine is required for your age group by the time you get your interview, it does not matter because the ones you received at the time of your medical were the ones required.

Ie if you received your medical during non flu season and did not get the flu shot because it was not available, the adjudicator cannot require you to get a flu shot if you applied for AOS during flu season OR had your interview during flu season. You getting the flu shot was not a requirement at the time of the year you did your medical therefore you are not required to fulfill the flu shot requirement.

Thank you so much! Sometimes it is just annoying that USCIS doesn't have a strict process....some people receive the letter some people don't. That creates the feeling of uncertainty. I am glad that visajourney exists and people like you! 👏

Now I am kind of excited if my EAD arrives before my interview....:D

    Thanks again! :)

I got the interview letter!! It's on January 10th in Raleigh/Durham! I'm beyond excited! Was looking for the mail lady aaaall morning :D 😍

    Congrats!

My interview is also scheduled on Janaury 10th in Boston. :)

I am not sure about the medical exam though. I did my medical exam back in Germany (Freiburg) in April. I had all necessry vaccinations (except the flu shot) and I sent the DS-3025 in our AOS package to USCIS. However, shortly after submitting I received a letter of courtesey from USCIS saying that I didn't provide the I-693 (medical exam)....It also says that evidence might be necessary for the interview. Now I am not sure if I have to redo the medical exam to be on the safe side for the interview. Ayone else with the same problem?

    Thanks! :)

Hi there, so nice to hear the good news!! Best of luck for you two.

Can I ask the NOA date and what was the processing time for Boston office. Thanks!

    Hi ana e jordan!

Our NOA date was the 30th of August. I don't know what the processing time for Boston is....how can I look that up?

Anyone out there who already received the EAD?

    Greetings from Massachusetts!

  5. Hi Everyone,

I read that some of you already had the interview for the green card. I just received an invitation letter and my interview will be on Thursday the 10th of December (Boston). I will add a little review after the interview!

However, we have one questions to all people out there who already had their interview: How long does it take to receive the green card after the interview?

    Thank you! :)

No EAD in this thread as far as I've seen. Some of us are lucky enough to have our greencard interview real soon. I think I might have my greencard before the EAD and AP.

I'm preparing like crazy for the interview. Got all the paperwork ready (everything you already had for the k1/interview/ao sapplocation plus evidence) but I'm freaking out. So is my husband. We live in a rather anti immigration part of the country. Very Trump minded (sorry, not starting an argument, just setting the mood). He even left me at home when voting cause he didnt want to risk me, an immigrant,  getting caught in any arguments or, heaven forbid, riots out there. (I thought he was a tad over reacting but I love how protective he is of me).

Anyway. Interview is up in a little over 2 weeks and I'm so nervous...

Thanks for the respond! And Congrats for the interview! Don't worry everything will work out!

Do you know if the status of the case has to change after the biometrics appointment?

  7. Hi Zebrasteve,

Congrats! I also received my biometrics letter a few days ago! Unfortunately, I didn't post the news in this thread but in the thread for the AOS August filers. It seemed like that all late August filers had to wait especially long for the biometrics. Hopefully the rest of the process will be smoothly.

And as you said....wir schafffen das ;)

  8. Hey Everyone!

I am also an August filer (30th of August) and I haven't received my biometrics appointment letter yet. Anyone put there who is also a late August filer and has gotten the letter?

I already did a service request beginning of October but nothing happened so far....

I also did a Infopass appointment but the guy there only could ensure me that I haven't missed any letter.

    Thanks! :)

@sysulin1210  and @Da&Ma maybe we should open up a club! I was just counting the weeks because it seemed oddly long and then i started researching very nervous.

I got my Receipt notice on the 31st of August and i am also still checking the mailbox 10 times a day.

Just wanted to let you guys know that you are not alone.

PS: Da&Ma, High five from one German to another! Halte durch! Wir schaffen das!

Sehr gut zu wissen dass ich nicht der einzige Deutsche bin! :)

Any updates on your appointment letters? I read that you can contact USCIS after 30 days after the service request was requested but not processed.

Please let me know when you receive any updates!

    Thanks! :)

  10. Hi sysulin1210,

I have pretty much the same timeline as you! My NOA date is the 30th of August. So far I haven't received a Biometrics Appointment letter yet.

I also did a service request on the 3rd of October. However, this request seems rather useless. I went to an Infopass appointment. The officee there was very nice. However, he also couldn't explain me the whole process of USCIS in Missouri. Nevertheless he could ensure me that no letter was lost in the mail....an idea of him was that they might use the biometrics which they took overseas. For me that would be Frankfurt, Germany. Fortunately, the papers are processing anyways....

Keep me posted about your Infopass appointment. Maybe your officer knows more! :)
