    Hi,

My husband and I have sent form I-751 on March 1 2019. We just received a letter in the mail asking for RFE. Seems like on the form, my husband signed both part 7 and 8. They want me to sign on part 7 and send it back to them. We are just unsure if they want the whole form again or only the part 7. The letter is not very specific. They also sent a copy of the page where I was meant to sign showing my husband's signature. Has anyone made this mistake and can advice us on how to send the RFE correctly?

    The letter says:

"On March 1, 2019, you and your petitioning spouse jointly filed Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, pursuant to section 216 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA).

You have not established eligibility to have the conditions on your residency removed. Please submit your response of this request for evidence along with a copy of this notice.

    PETITION SIGNATURE

The supporting evidence indicates that you filed Form I-751 jountly based on your marriage to a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident. "My name here" did not sign in Part 7 of the petition, instead "my husband's name here" signed in part 7 & 8. A signature is required for USCIS to process your Form I-751.

Please ensure that "my name here" signs Part 7 of the petition in block 6.a. and return the signed petition to this office.

PLACE THIS ENTIRE LETTER ON TOP OF YOUR REPONSE. SUBMISSION OF EVIDENCE WITHOUT THIS LETTER WILL DELAY PROCESSING OF YOUR CASE AND MAY RESULT IN A DENIAL. PLEASE USE THE ENCLOSED ENVELOPE TO MAIL THE ADDITIONAL EVIDENCE REQUESTED BACK TO THIS OFFICE."

    Thank you in advance.

Did you print all the pages of the form I-751 or you just printed the pages that you were required to sign?

I would wait until USCIS sends you a RFE. They won't accept anything without you RFE letter.

REF was sent 11 months after I sent my initial application and I'm still waiting for my interview to be scheduled. Just be patient. They will contact you.

I honestly did not know that I am the petitioner now. Sigh. Had I know, I wouldn’t let my partner sign it. But did you receive your extension letter already? So you can apply for citizenship now then?

  3. Hi guys, so I am a May filer.

Just want to share what I have done getting a notification from USCIS to have an interview. It just took me 5 days to get a response from them. I sent an inquiry asking them to help me update what is going on with my case. I filled out the inquiry form and after filling out there was a receipt for the service request and telling me that they will get back to me on December 2. But Just November 13 came , (actually submitted the inquiry on November 9) I received a notification that my interview is scheduled for December 21st.

    Just ty guys to ask.

    ;) it might work.

Hi Aping27, is there any change in your case status ?? even i mailed my documents to USCIS but no response yet.

Hey @VIN still the same. It has been over a week now but I have not heard anything from USCIS yet. I don't know if they have received it. Crossing fingers though. I hope they will grant my expedite request. I badly need the permit for my job. :( Been checking my status online everyday. But what can we do, we'll have to wait.

Mailing your evidence should work. Just curious how is the number not working? did you fax the documents over during the office hours? Did the fax machine notify you the reason why it cannot be delivered?

Its always busy, you wont get a fax tone, someone will just hang up, or the machine keeps on dialing the number and dont get any response at all. Yes I fax it during office hours.

In my e-mail USCIS requested proof of what I claimed. They provided me with the specific fax number and extension to send my docs (keep in mind this is individual, therefore, even if I gave you mine it would not work for you).

I did send same Fax about 3 times on different days just for good measure. I also created a cover page for my fax with big giant red letters saying Urgent and description of my case including alien number and who I was and what I was claiming.

    Hope this helps. Good luck!

Use Hellofax website. You do not have to have a landline or leave the house to do so.

Have u tried it? Hellofax does really work?

The upper forums are English only. If you have a question or comment that requires non-English, please post it in the appropriate regional forum. Thank you.

OK. I apologize. I never thought someone would complain because I'm typing my response in Tagalog since the one I am talking to is from the Philippines. So I suppose its okay to say it in Tagalog too. Again, I apologize.

    Page 12?

There is no page 12 on form I-864. Delete what? You just have to make sure the form is filled out with the right information needed. Ganun dn ginawa ko eh. paulit ulit din ako. Buti sayo alam mo na its being reviewed. When ka pala nag apply for AOS? So may NOA1 kana? Kelan biometrics mo? Ewan ko anong pinagsasabi nitong nasa taas re sa form. Ang importante kasi teh may sign sya ng petitioner.

If you can't provide proof, chances are they're going to reject it. But if they don't ask for proof (which can be rare), then it is what it is.

The number they indicated on the letter doesn't work. I have tried sending it through fax but then it won't allow me to send it through.

So what I did, i just mailed it and wrote ATTN: LA......

I hope they're going to receive it.

    .

Effectively, I received a letter with a Fax number to send my documents. Then the same messages appeared (the ones from my first post), and after a couple of calls, today I received the "New card is being produced".

    Hello,

I jointly filed the I-130/I-485/I-131 from an F-1 visa through marriage back in Feb. 2017. I didn't apply for a EAD as, by a consult from a lawyer, I didn't need one.

However, apparently I do need one now. I sent the I-765 forms, and called to get the EAD expedited (I have a job offer, and used the severe financial loss to individual as a reason to expedite). I have not sent the evidence of the job offer to USCIS yet, but today I saw these messages on the myUSCIS page:

What does that last message mean? Since I have not submitted evidence of a job offer, completing the request for an expedite EAD means that the request was rejected? can USCIS reject an expedite request without giving me the chance to submit evidence?

    Thanks.

Hi did you submit any evidence or proof for this request?
