I hope not, but at the rate things are going with uscis, 1 year from NOA1 to POE is not impossible.
Yea that's my guess, 11-12months

yea congressmen was a big let down for me, everyone is staying with the same BS narrative "it's within normal processing time". I kept on my two congressmen tho and actually got a letter last week; it said that my petition is on someones desk as of Dec. 12th and if I dont hear anything in 30 days to follow up w/ CSC...so guess that's good. BUT when I called Tier II last week and the week before, they couldnt tell me if the petition was at least assigned to someone or anything...this was before I received my letter from the congressmen of course, otherwise I would have stated as much; not sure if that would've changed anything tho.

This managed to get him to Tier 2, and get a good solid answer.
***************So when you call, tell them you want to speak to a Tier 2 Representative about our case.
if they say you can't because it is within normal processing times, or that they are 'currently processing May 1st cases', then tell them that the website is out of date since it says they were processing May 1st as of September 30th... thats two and a half months ago.
Then tell her you have a list of case numbers from AFTER our date of June 12th, which have been approved, and therefore you want to speak with a Tier 2 to find out what is happening specifically with our case.
Of course you know I have hundreds of case numbers from the scans I run, but here are just a few to prove our point...
WAC1790363934 - Filed 15th June, approved 15th DecemberWAC1790364036 - Filed 15th June, approved 15th DecemberWAC1790367610 - Filed 19th June, approved 19th DecemberWAC1790369234 - Filed 20th June, approved 19th DecemberWAC1790369226 - Filed 20th June, approved 20th DecemberWAC1790369882 - Filed 20th June, approved 20th DecemberWhen you get to speak to a Tier 2, just explain that you were of the understanding that cases are dealt with in order, and you have those cases to show that ours has been left behind and you'd like to understand why... is it background checks? is it assigned to an adjudicator? etc etc......
Hope this helps,***************Alternatively you can tell them you lost your receipt number, you get transferred easy peasy...

Supposed to? No, they can do whatever they want. They do update it but since the big slowdown that dates don’t change much. I suspect they will be processing August before it changes to June 1. That way they don’t have to deal with the inquiries.
Exactly, they do whatever they want and there's no recourse or accountability; lazy bums if you ask me, just sayin...

Be patient, it will come soon. I believe we shall have good news this week and finally be with our loved ones. I miss her so much
Congratulations to all approved VJ members.
Yes! I miss my Queen too, we're ready for the next steps; slightly anxious about the interview when that time comes. Not sure how the Lagos embassy is, but I know she'll do fine!

If he pays child support then I believe they should be listed and there is an option for full or partial support on the I-134 in the dependents. However I'm not 100% sure since they don't live with him..
It's my understanding that the deciding factor is whether or not you claim them on your taxes as a dependent. That would be your guide b/c if you do, then you have to include them when looking at the Visa Income Requirements.

I did the inquiry by calling the USCIS but it only worked because the processing date on the website had been temporarily changed to Sept 1.
Damn I thought about doing the same thing, but figured they would just say there was an error and leave it at that.

For what’s it worth, you can export the chat in WhatsApp. Select the chat, then tap the persons name at the top, which now gives you several options for the selected person, next select export chat.
