hmm, guess they're just gonna skip right over all the WAC17903676*** cases, unless the person working this stack of cases is out of the office for the holiday's.

I hope not, but at the rate things are going with uscis, 1 year from NOA1 to POE is not impossible.

Exactly right I wish I did then since that time my Congress, tried,I tried an we get the wait til feb 1 spill...even online we are stopped, with the it's normal processing time #######

yea congressmen was a big let down for me, everyone is staying with the same BS narrative "it's within normal processing time". I kept on my two congressmen tho and actually got a letter last week; it said that my petition is on someones desk as of Dec. 12th and if I dont hear anything in 30 days to follow up w/ CSC...so guess that's good. BUT when I called Tier II last week and the week before, they couldnt tell me if the petition was at least assigned to someone or anything...this was before I received my letter from the congressmen of course, otherwise I would have stated as much; not sure if that would've changed anything tho.

Supposed to?  No, they can do whatever they want. They do update it but since the big slowdown that dates don’t change much. I suspect they will be processing August before it changes to June 1. That way they don’t have to deal with the inquiries.

Exactly, they do whatever they want and there's no recourse or accountability; lazy bums if you ask me, just sayin...

Such a wonderful feeling to see my fellow Nigerian peeps here holding on and encouraging one another. Be patient, it will come soon. I believe we shall have good news this week and finally be with our loved ones. I miss her so much:(

Congratulations to all approved VJ members.

Yes! I miss my Queen too, we're ready for the next steps; slightly anxious about the interview when that time comes. Not sure how the Lagos embassy is, but I know she'll do fine!

If he pays child support then I believe they should be listed and there is an option for full or partial support on the I-134 in the dependents. However I'm not 100% sure since they don't live with him..

It's my understanding that the deciding factor is whether or not you claim them on your taxes as a dependent. That would be your guide b/c if you do, then you have to include them when looking at the Visa Income Requirements.
