I came to the usa on a K1 visa last june, got my green card in october 07, my 17 year old, (18 this year daughter) who i did include on my K1 didnt want to join me at the time, but is now thinking about coming here to live in the near future, since her year to follow on my K1 is up what would we need to do for this to happen. Also she would want to spend some time back in the uk as she would miss our family and her long term boyfriend. Is it ok to go back and forth after getting her green card? thanks for any help.

ive been veggie since i was 17(20 years ago) but even as i kid i wouldnt eat lamb, i used to tell my dad(who was a butcher at the time) im not eating baby lambs, i want to save their lives, and he used to laugh at me sayin they are already dead Hayley. One day when i was about 13 he served me what i thought was a lamb chop, and i said this taste funny, all the way thru dinner he kept laughing at me, then afterwards told me i had just eaten a lamb chop. I ran to the bathroom and threw up, never trusted him with pork chops again after that.

I had my teeth cleaned for the first time since ive been in the US, all i can say is wow, i was in the chair about an hr, and my teeth are the cleanest they have been since i was about 10, uk dentisty sucks compared to here. And man dont it cost a bloody fortune to send parcels to the uk, gonna have to take a loan out to send all the presents back to my kids.

Thanks all, really wanted to celebrate last night but since we both started diets monday we couldnt think of a way to do so without it involving loads of calories.

Had our interview on Friday 10/05/2007 in Philadelphia...had to wait about 45 minutes til we got in there..once we got in..it was easy and painless...took about 15 minutes...then we were told we were approved!...not stuck in FBI name check..told the green card would be coming in 2 weeks (not holding out any hope on that one...LOL)...Thanx to everyone with their help!
-
Just a quick question..we are going to our interview next Friday...we have all of our evidence...and documents needed...the only problem is that we did not make copies of our AOS application..is it absolutely necessary to have it?...the instructions say to bring any copies of documents submitted with your application..we did not make a copy of the AOS package

thankyou for your help, much appreciated..

sorry for not explaining myself properly, i mean can i travel between having the interview and recieving the green card...why i ask is i have my interview soon but want to travel just after, but might get stuck in FBI name check so might not get green card straight away. I also heard they no longer stamp your passport at the interview?
