Thanks for the reply, our case is CC as of this afternoon!! Today marks exactly 11 weeks since our sept 19 scan date.

Yayyy! AOS Fee was gone last night and status changed to "At NVC".  I called this morning and was informed that I had a case complete! It took less than 6 weeks!

Hello all!!! I have a CC as of yesterday 12/5/2017, last waiting period for an interview and we will be done with this whole tedious process.
 
SD:7/24/2017
    -received checklist on 9/7/2017, mailed document in
2nd SD: 9/19/2017
   - called to check status 11/7/2017, was surprised with a new SD
3rd SD: 11/1/2017
   - called again 11/8/2017 and asked for supervisor review (we did not mail in anything else since sept 19)
CC: 12/5/2017 (exactly 11 weeks from out 2nd scan date of  9/19/2017)

Hopefully we don't have to wait too long for an appointment. Does anyone know what the average wait time is between CC and interview?
 

I called late last night to confirm that indeed we did have a CC and yes it is CC. The rep said that they don't have a timeframe from CC to interview appointment but she said that they will notify us of appointment at least a month in advance so now all is left is to prep and wait for that appointment. Good luck to everyone else waiting on a CC and hopefully you start off the new year with a CC!!

I'm in tears... we finally got a CC this evening!!! exactly today marks 11 weeks since scan date sept 19th and after being put under more stress for a new scan date that shouldnt be, Our case states "at NVC" and my AOS is disappeared! Thank you God.
 
1st scan date: 7/24/17
checklist received for missing birth certificate, sent again on 9/13/17
2nd scan date 9/19/2017
asked for supervisor review on 11/13/2017 to double check a new scan date of nov 1st (which he had not submitted anymore docs since sept 19) told to wait 6 weeks
CC: 12/5/2017 sometime between 12-5pm.
 
I'm going to call after work to double check and make sure our case is indeed closed and keep you guys posted.

I'm not sure about speeding things up...but I called this morning and was given my interview date.  They told me my interview was scheduled on the 9th but I still have not received an email.  So it may at least give you more info.

you're a life saver!!! thanks for that information!!!! is it business days meaning monday-friday or is it the whole week that you counted?

Just to share with you guys, when i was waiting everyday for NVC processing, i was checking approx every case from July/August/September Scan dates , i calculated the time that took every case for CC or a checklist and below are the results:
 
For (July/August/September) Scan dates: The average was 50 days 
For (August/September) Scan dates: The average was 48 days 
For (September) Scan dates: The average was 47 days 
 
*50 Users used for the above Data*
 
NVC is obviously taking 6-7 weeks now to finish cases or send a checklist.

oh ok. Well NVC did not send me any notification of when they received my waiver packet so I think you should call them to ask and see when they received it and that would be your scan date. The biometric appointment was sent to us in april i think about 2-3 weeks after they received out waiver packet. So since you mentioned you're at the 2 week mark maybe that letter should be on its way to you guys. I recommend calling the NVC and they will let you know when they received your packet and you can get  a better estimate from that date.

You could but you have to bring proof of the vaccinations and chances are they might still give him 2 or 3 shots. I have spoken to a few that did this but they still ended up getting a couple shots. But doesn't hurt especially if you have insurance, might save you a bit.
