Hello Everyone, my wife just had her interview at Dhaka Embassy and she got approved. . Just wanted to give you guys an update !!

Hello everyone! 
December 1, 2017 I received an email letter from NVC (the letter was dated November 30, 2017) informing me that my interview will be on January 23, 2018.
The review process didn't took 8 to 11 weeks!! 
We didn't receive any notice that our case is complete. So we do not know when our case got completed. 
But we are very happy from the result.

I love how they send out batches of emails Friday night ... after they are closed... for the weekend. Very smart they are! 
After you have given up hope for another week, and you get a nice weekend present. So happy!! And relieved! Now we can make plans for the holidays, and our 2 year anniversary.  
 
I'm glad I didn't call last night, since, if they were to tell me about the interview I would've had to wake up my husband in Spain! lol
 
Anyway, don't give up hope, interview appts are being sent for sure, even after offices are closed.

People are especially judgmental - frequency of communication has no bearing on whether a couple stays married.  My grandfather was in theatre for three years during WW2, and he remained married to my grandmother until her death, despite the absence of anything more than an infrequent letter (they didn't Skype while he was transiting the Hump to Burma, and Whatsap was not an option).  I called my first wife daily or more when I travelled and, well, that marriage ended in divorce.
 
I've spent time in remote areas of Vietnam, and internet/mobile service can be very spotty and expensive.  OP, you go to your interview with what you have.  Fortunately, CO's won't expect you to be either 1) rich or 2) living in an area with fibre optic service.

I just heard back from my husband.
He was approved!!!
They asked him;
How many children he has and if they where all born in the US.
They asked him when did he come to the US.
If he had been arrested before and why.
 God is Good!! 
 

Tomorrow is my husband's appointment in Ciudad Juarez!
I am very nervous but I know God is in Control.
We have been waiting 15 years for this and it has finally come.
I will let you all know how it goes as soon as I hear from him.

No Kayman, you don't need it notarized, but it has to be manually signed by the sponsor and he/she needs to give you their tax transcript too or tax returns + W-2.

Waiting for interview appointment. I called today. They said they will schedule interviews at the end of this month or beginning of next month for January 2018!

I recommend he gets his medical now. It's not going to expire by the interview date. It's valid for about 3 months I think. It's better he starts now so he doesn't stand the chance of not meeting up with the interview date.
