Our case finally shows In Transit!! Yay! Time to schedule our medical appointment, as the closes date available is next Friday. I hope the embassy will receive our docs by then haha

Just called the NVC and got our case number as well.
Received yesterday - today case number has been assigned.
I wish USCIS would have been so prompt

Hopefully they'll have it, sounds like they've been assigned case numbers all day today

Congrats. I’ve called three times today already so I’m kind of hesitant of calling a fourth right now. My plan is to call after 7pm tonight because I called after 7pm last night for case received so I’m giving them full 24 hours to have this in the system.

I just provided my approval date and mu case number, and in my own words asked them to look into where is my petition and whether it was sent or not. And that's it.

No, here's the specific language they used:
 
"The California Service Center no longer has jurisdiction over your petition, which was approved November 27, 2017, and is currently in transit to the U.S. Department of State, Consular Section, for K-1 visa processing.

My petition was approved on November 27th. Yesterday, I emailed CSC and got a reply back, also yesterday, saying that they no longer have jurisdiction over my petition, that it was mailed out and that I should contact NVC for further help. So i guess i'll be calling them tonight.
