ebouloudene reacted to K & R in Husband had GREENCARD interview.
Keep checking your case status online, on the app, and on the old website. Your case was likely passed on to a supervisor to determine your approval. If they told you 90 days then calling USCIS is probably not going to get you very far. You could always try to call and speak to a tier 2 but I would wait at least a few weeks. Was there anything that you think would keep you from getting approved? Any issues that seemed to come up at the interview?

Well I call the NVC Friday after work and FINALLY, we got our case number which leads me to believe they had the case for a while and just assigned it the number that day. I called earlier in the week and they stated they did not have the case. My understanding is it takes a few days to get one's number following the NVC receiving the case. Hopefully, I can get by dear here within a month. I think we were at 56 or 59 days from NOA2 to NVC case number...hang in there folks, and yes, I have updated the spreadsheet. Good luck guys...keep the prayers or tears or whatever works for you comin', your time will come...this waiting is so hard though and I will never forget the inefficiency of this process funded by our tax dollars.

We got our approval on November 29th 2017 for a k1 finance visa, I'm in the United States pregnant and waiting for him to come here. Just wanted to know what I should be expecting in the upcoming weeks and how to best prepare myself and help him through the process as well. I know that theres the ds-160 form and he has to go get a medical and all that stuff for his interview but what else should I be preparing for? I was also curious about when my letter from the NVC will arrive and what it will say on it, should I call the NVC before I receive the letter or after or will they only send it to me after I call? PLEASE AND THANK YOU FOR ANY HELP!!!

ebouloudene reacted to Perfect two 💑 in They received our RFE!!! Now what...
    1) Depends on what is the RFE is about. If it something simple like forget to tick a box, it will take around a week. For more complicated matters, it will take around 2-3 weeks.
    2) After they receive your RFE, if everything is good to go, they will issue a Notice of Approval (NOA2).
    3) What you can do now is just wait. If you are the beneficiary, start to gather all documents needed (such as police certificate, translated birth certificate). You can start fill up the I-134 too and gather all the petitioner W2 and tax return.
