hubby interview today was a success visa approved 😊

Does anyone knows how much is the visa after the interview? Where can I go to look it up

Just recieved an Interview date 🤗

I got an email from Nvc saying Notice of missing items ..affidavit of support forms and civil documents but I just send it Friday .but it’s not a detail checklists to see what I’m missing.Anyone else had this happened to them ?because I just mail it out this week and they reveieved the package this Friday 

Sending my iv package tomorrow .🙂🙂

I'm an accountant, if you're married do not file single. You can file married filing jointly or married filing separately. If you're a USC with a non-resident spouse, you can file jointly if your spouse has an ITIN, and they'll be considered a US Citizen only for tax purposes only. Hope that helps.

I have a question. For filling out tax for this year do I have the option of applying for married but filling separately or single? I didn’t want any red flags during the interview. I know it’s common sense so don’t judge me. Just finding out about this option . Thank you

I think both because I received my welcome letter through a email .. I think when you filed out the ds-261 they ask for an email and your address so they can send it to both. Good luck

No I didn’t call them yesterday I didn’t have time I recieved and email later in the afternoon and I was able to pay it. When I did check that morning it wasn’t unlocked but around 4 pm it was unlocked to pay. But you can call to review i think each case is different

I think if you're the petitioner on the application and you selected yourself as the agent AND you're currently here in the states, they process your DS261 much quicker. I submitted mine yesterday, called NVC this morning and they accepted my DS261 while I was on the phone.

Hey I got an email through nvc it was the welcome number and now I can pay the fee so I’m going to now. That’s was fast because it was yesterday I just filled out the ds261 🙂

I received the welcome letter through mail is that normal?

I’m going to call them today so they can review it. It’s not allowing me to pay the AOS fee as yet

Yes go to the nvc website and put your case number and invoice number and you can start with the agent and address

Yea I got my case number and filled out the ds-261 to chose an agent but I’m waiting for the fee link to open
