Hi. Just want to share mine. Well we told the USCIS before we got approved to change the embassy but told us just say so when it is in the NVC. We called the NVC 6x to say that we wanted to transfer it to manila embassy. From the time they got it we called already. They said yes. But for some reason it was still sent to saudi instead of manila. didn’t get luck too just as @geowrian but you can try it maybe it will work for you. Keep contacting them. 😊

Hi there. I would like to ask how many weeks all in all did it take you for transfering your case from riyadh to manila including the time you requested it. Its been more than a week since US embassy manila acknowledge our request. 

@geowrian do you have any idea if it is okay if we pass the validity date of our NOA2 approval? Cause its only up until august 24 and now we have to have this case transfer which will still take time. The USCIS to NVC timeline took us like 10 weeks. I had it requested from the NVC when it was like 9 weeks cause it is taking long. 

@geowrian that was not too long. Anyway, did you wait for the riyadh to receive your case before you sent in the transfer request? How many weeks did it take?

@geowrian Thank you. I was thinking before that they might send it to riyadh instead of manila. And yes they did! Haha. We contacted the NVC about it to so many times when we had our case number. Told them to transfer it to manila instead of Saudi they said yes they will change it. And now we are the ones to have it transfer. So sad.😕 hope it will not take much time transferring. We are going to a a year processing this k1 next month 😕

@eldaV inquiry about where is the location of the petition? I really don’t know what is going with this😕 this is really frustrating. happy for you at least you have already got it. And case already is at NVC hope ours too. 

@eldaV yeah this is so frustrating. We have been approved 4/16. And up to now our case is not yet in NVC. I asked my fiance to keep calling and true most doesnt really know the case or doesn’t want to help. 

Anyway, it was the USCIS you called to inquire about the location of the case?

We have been calling the NVC about our case and they say they haven’t got our case yet. It’s been 8 weeks since we our approved. No updates from them yet. We called the USCIS and asked about it but the representative is saying different things yet we have been mailed and emailed that our case has been forwarded to the NVC. Anyone know what to do? It worries me, its been 8 weeks and nothing yet.

no we don’t have it yet. My fiance called the NVC yesterday and says that our papers are not there yet.

Hi everyone. We receive our NO2 last april 20, 2018 and we were supposed to get the Case number from NVC. We are waiting for like a month already for the case number. We called the NVC and says our papers is not there anymore. And have seen this on the USCIS website. Like “the post office returned the document to us and we will hold the document until 180 days.” Anyone had this? What to do? Its making me worry.

Hi everyone. 

My fiance mispelled my Middle name. We have called the USCIS about it and we have been told that the request to change it was done already and gave us the reference number for it. We also have been approved April 16, 2018. And on the letter my middle name was not yet corrected. Now they will send it to the NVC. I am worried that the middle name will not be corrected and will have problems when it will reach the local embassy I am going to apply the visa which is in manila. 

Does anyone had the same situation as mine? What did you do?

Hi good day. We received an RFE and our respond was being this last wednesday march 28. Does anyone know how many weeks does the USCIS responds to this? Thank you.

The I-129F. I saw it mispelled on the NOA1 they sent my fiancee. Okay I will tell him probably contact the uscis what to do 

My fiance mispelled my middle name and put LONSANGAN instead of LANSANGAN. And I am worried that we will have problems with that. He told me that the first and last name matters and not the middle name so it won’t be of a problem. Does anyone had this same situation? Or anyone that does know about this situation?
