First, congratulations to everyone that got their recent approval. We are all still on time and blessed even we did not get exactly what we expected 180days everybody wants it but ofcourse not all will have it for different reasons.Let us not lose hope, remember we might be procrastinated for other factors occured in our noa2 but still we can catch up in God's grace during our nvc or consulate phase....

Second, I have a question. I have been seeing tier2 and some of the filers mentioned they were able to talk to customer rep., how or what# to call? Apparently,we tried calling the contact number way before but it was just voice record not an actual individual, perhaps somebody can share or enlighten me with what is tier2 and how it works:)???

Lastly, I am grateful to you guys and so relieving seeing such comforting words and encouragement from co-filers trying to keep my mind off much to not overwrought myself because for some reason to me watched pot never boils...

You are correct the big picture is they open the case; meaning they gone through the papers and find what is missing or other supporting documents needed...

Yeah as fas as I have seen from others 28days or can be more just have to wait.... I wonder if there are cases had quick response.... thanks again you are truly helpful...

God has his own timeline for us and I am grateful!!!!

It does in fact seem that you have misunderstood the requirements. The link shared by @Bzlibem does not load for me, so here it is again just in case: https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p . The requirements for a household of 2 you need an income of $20,300/year (more if you live in Hawaii or Alaska). The 3x you're seeing is if you're using assets instead of income. So let's say you're retired and thus have no real "income", but you do have savings that you're living off of. You're allowed to use these savings in lieu of income as long as you're savings are 3x the income requirement if you're sponsoring your spouse, or 5x if you're sponsoring anyone else. So a retired person would need at least $60,900 in savings to sponsor their spouse.

That said, it appears that you're still $1400 short. No worries, you can find a joint sponsor to overcome that $1400 deficit. The sponsor can be any US citizen or resident domiciled in the US. You can also make up the deficit by combining your income and $1400 x 3 ($4,200) in assets. Assets can be anything that can be converted into cash within a year. The conversion to cash cannot present an undue hardship to the sponsor. So selling off your primary house at a loss is probably a no-go.

It happens across all service centres because the data is churned out whenever users update their timeline. All of us are equally stuck in this whole journey and it would be lucky to get NOA2 in 6 months. The only thing to do is to keep looking forward, preparing for the NVC stage, reading this forum on common problems and try to avoid those.
