Just received my wife's approval notice in the mail yesterday! Turns out, she was approved the day after the interview but our online status never updated. Sigh.

In other news...I just got an update from USPS that her 2-year green card arrives on Tuesday! Hard to believe this 14-month journey (from I-129F to green card) is finally coming to an end.

See you again in 2 years, USCIS! I'm already collecting ROC evidence!

I'm so happy for you! And have been hopeful as we followed you with our interview last Thursday w/ the same Officer in PA. Fingers crossed for the same result! I find I'm back to stalking to online status again..... maybe I don't need to.

So I'm perusing this thread and thinking, wow, so many people are getting really lucky. I can't believe how many people have already had their interview after filing in April!

So, I go and check the statistics and average processing times. Dayum. On average, 155 days between biometrics and interview. In Houston, where I am, 390 days! Yeeesh.

Again, I guess it's no biggie once we have the EAD/AP card. But it'd be nice to have it over with, you know? Eugh. 390 days. More than a year! Can't imagine things will improve after Harvey, either. Big love to all those affected (Irma survivors, too!)

Hey there! I hear ya, I keep thinking 'today's MY day!' based on others getting their interviews, but still no. Where do you see the average between the two milestones? I was just working off of the YTD stuff found attached below.... Somewhere else to look?

    Thanks :)

Yes sorry for the errors in my first response. A few weeks ago I experience the same issue n had to use the forget password option. There are 4 questions in which u will be prompted to answer u do not need to get them correct once that Is over with u will be asked a few more questions n then a reset password will be sent to u via email or text based upon ur choosing. I don't know if there is a glitch in the system. I just opted for the reset password since I couldnt sign in.

No worries! I understand and had to reset my password as well. Just strange as the site locked me out without trying to sign in, in the first place...... still no word on an interview date, I'm so anxious!!! You?

Gd afternoon fella filer a few weeks ago I was so this is what I did go to forget password n attempt the 4 questions then follow the instructions that followed you will receive an email or text which ever u chooses. Plz let me know how it's goes don't be afraid.

Thanks! But the thing is, I hadn't tried to log in more than once. It's not as if I tried a few times with the wrong password, that's why I'm wondering if it's a glitch in their system or if there's something else going on.....

hey @Rachelberry welcome to this topic, I would suggest that, as the one thing most of us have lots of, is free time (due to the fact that we are going thru this process and cant do much else till its done or at least till we get EADs) maybe you should go back 10 pages or so and start reading all the posts from then on, as you might find the answers to questions that you have asked as well as some questions u didn't even know u had... In my opinion that would help you understand what most of us have been going through and how most of our timelines look... Just a suggestion...

P.S. dont worry about being obsessed, almost everyone on here are obsessed about their cases and that's very normal...

    Thanks!

From what I gathered in this forum, the I-765 and I-131 are processed at the NBC and the I-485 is sent from there to be processed at your local USCIS office, which may or may not decide to schedule an interview. I do not think you need a I-130 status change to be scheduled for an interview, it establishes your eligibility for the I-485 and if the status for I-485 is 'ready to be scheduled for interview' it has done its job.

I think you live in Philadelphia and it being a big city may result in waiting a little longer to be scheduled for an interview. But then I am in Boston and I got scheduled in two months so who knows really.

Congrats on the EAD and I hope you hear about interview soon!

Thanks very much! You got scheduled 2 months from when? Was it when your online status changed you got notified of your interview date, or within two months of your status changing you had the interview? I feel I'm becoming obsessed with this all now...... sigh.

Cases are different. Some might not be required to appear for interview especially K1 Visa but most family based filed in the US here requires interview to validate your marriage authenticity. Good luck

Have you had any response lately for your case? I got that email 5 days after you. And I haven't heard anything yet.

Hi both! I'm in the same boat..... as of 27 June, my interview is ready to be scheduled.... no word since. You guys?

  8. Hey there! Fellow April filer and former VJ stalker but decided to bite the bullet, join the group and participate in this discussion. I have some questions. I received my EAD in the mail today and am waiting for my interview (I-485 status = *Case ready to be scheduled for an interview* since 27Jun2017). My status for I-130 is still *Case was received*. Anybody else in the same boat? Do I need the I-130 status to change before I'll be scheduled for an interview? Are both forms being processed at the same place/ From the I-765, it appears so..... unless I'm missing something. I really want that interview date!!

Any info is appreciated. I'm really ready to have this whole process & accompanying stress behind me!!
