On the form it asks for a date of travel... does this mean you can't apply for a travel doc if you do not have a pending date of travel, I just awanted it to have on hand in case for me and for sure a Christmas visit home for the kids. What's up with the date, if i leave it blank what happens they say no? What about the use, can you use it more than one time?

Do I put my new married name on the AOS forms, or leave it as the name I entered and have my K1 info on. So what is it married or madien? I guess I have to change everything later anyway so leave it as madien right? Thanks. Also anyone else file in North Carolina? How long did it take?

Hello all- a few questions re AOS, do I have to wait untill the AOS is done before applying for a EAD or travel document? The AOS I-485 covers myself and 2 children correct? No need to apply seperate for them? Where do I find the non immigrant visa # they requsted, is it the # on the bottom of my passport? The final question- can I apply for the travel doc's for the kids and I ASAP? - with the intent to have multiple journeys across the Canadian US border. Help, and thanks, Meliss.

The officer gave me a stamp and a extra paper attached to my passport at POE. I am canadian as well, but came on a K1 Visa. The officer also stamped my family that was driving with me, hope it helps.
