We appreciate the replies. I think I'll wait until Friday and then I'll go without calling them.

I'm happy you mentioned the ustravels website. U know what? Absolutely nothing happens after I login to my account. Whatever I click do NOT open. Only the side at the upper left corner where it gives u the chance to update profile works. I can't track my passport or anything of that sort. But i was able to speak with the DHL office and they said is still not ready.

Our visa has been printed since July.10.2018 and it says issued on the ceac website. I expected email from DHL the whole of last week and I still got nothing. Who has experienced this before? And what is the approximate time it takes to be contacted?

Alhamdulillah. May Allah see him through. If you don't mind me asking , why was he denied for K1 visa?
Well the K1 interview was a nightmare and we had a rude lady then. She said she feels their was something more between us... she accused me of dating my exhusband (whom i was separated from 4 years before finally divorcing)and then fiancé ( now husband ) at the same time. Because i divorced my exhusband in May of 15 and met my husband in June of 15 became engaged rather quickly waited 6 months to file. We filed in dec of 2015 and was interviewed and denied by June 2016. Since our hopes and plans were ruined to marry in the states we married before i left Ghana in July of 2016. I waited for all the denial paper work and refiled in feb of 17 and after other tedious issues with NVC we are finally APPROVED. Now our life as a married couple can finally began

It's been well over 4 months since the NVC received our case, this is very frustrating. Has anyone experienced this before?

There would never be any reason to include evidence for a K1 case with a CR1 or IR1 visa filing. What is it you are actually trying to do?
Yea we were denied K-1 and have since filed for CR-1 so I think my husband wants to know should we combine old and new evidence?
-
Can someone please advise me on how to package our documents? I mean with the old K1 evidence still intact, do I need to make our CR1 documents separately, or I can combine them in the same paper binder with the K1 stuffs? What is the smartest thing to do?

As stated above it’s good to start collecting documents need for the NVC phase such as tax documents, police report , copy of passport, copy of birth certificate, and any additional evidence you want to submit.
Don’t get your medical exam until you have completed the NVC phase and have been given your interview date. In Ghana medical exams are only good for 6 months. Since the NVC is taking about 11 weeks after receiving documention to approve case and a couple months to assign interview dates, it will be close to expiring.
As for vaccines, you shouldn’t have to get any repeats. If you have a immunization that requires a series of shots that haven’t been completed, you make have to get those shots. Make sure to take your immunization card with you so they know what you’ve received. This will also Help lower the price of the exam.
Thanks so much, this is helpful.
For the k1 visa, It took me almost 4 months before my interview date was due, I mean from the day I took my package that tells me what i needed to provide for my intervew. How long are we looking at for the Cr1?

Hello,
last year we were denied k1 visa and this year we have applied for the ir1 cr1 visa and we have been approved at the uscis. With the k1 visa the embassy issued a letter to us that indicate their requirements.
Do I have to wait for them to receive our package from the nvc before I can start gathering the requirements that I know about? or I have to wait until the package gets there before I start anything?
And also concerning the medical reports, am i going to go all over the vaccinations again?

September 13 will make 7 months since we received our noa1. I just sent an inquiry about our case and I got an automated reply that they will respond by the 28th. My husband and I met in July of 2015 and we got engaged hoping to tie the knot in the US by my birthday in June so we did a K1 application Jan 2016( We wanted to wait to be absolutely sure of our engagement to marry). In six months he was sitting in front of a consular who ended up denying him stating there was " more" to us. It was a horrible git wrenching experience. So after being devasted and are plans destroyed we decided to Marry in Ghana so at least we could enjoy each other as husband and wife and with Gods blessings. So we married July 4, 2016. After some advice I waited until we received the official denial which pretty much stated we filed the wrong application... like how? I wrote the uscis, nvc, and even president Obama at the time.. it was so unfair and I was super pissed. So I finally filed IR-1/CR-1 in February 2017 and received my first NOA February 13, 2017 and nothing since then. I met my now husband 7/2015( my then 10 year old daughter was with me), again in 4/2016(in Istanbul turkey his mom had to get brain surgery and I'm a nurse) 6/2016( for his interview and subsequently our marriage) and most recently 4/2017 for 3 months. (with my 74 yr old mother who stayed a month. and 12 yr old daughter ( stayed entire time) to introduce my mother and honor our Islamic values of marriage and families joining). Like the time is really testing our patience and marriage because it's stressful. Really people shouldn't have this much power to ruin people's lives like the first interviewer did ours because she was out right mean
