Hi,
I had my AOS interview on 02/06 at San Jose field office. Even we were in the interview room for an hour but it was smooth. The Interview Officer was pleasant and friendly and she made us feel like we were having a casual conversation and not an interview. But I have not been told whether I will be recommended for GC or not. Should i be worried?
What was your Priority Date (I-130 for F2A) and when did you apply for I-485 (AOS)?

I dont understand how employment based EADs and H4 EADs are getting approved but there is no movement in our EADs who are married to GREENCARD holders!! WTH!! AAHH the wait!
USCIS must be loving the new president as now they don't have to work that hard.. LOL

I haven’t contacted them yet. This is my timeline:
NBC
PD 02/08/16
I-130 APPROVED - 05/24/16
AOS I485, I131, I765 received by USCIS 10/13/17
Biometrics done 11/13/17Did u get your EAD/AP?

Sent an email to my immigration attorney (Same one who did 3 H1Bs, LCA and I-140 for me from my company and also I-130 and AOS, EAD/AP F2A category). She responded back saying that EAD/AP is expected to be approved this month. Its taking slightly longer than 90 days (I am at day 125 !).
So same BS of wait patiently. Gosh USCIS is broken !

hi there,
for my Wife, her PD is March 2016. In November 2017 we requested the EAD and AP combo cards, she had the fingerprints but since then (11/2017) we haven't heard anything back. Is this normal, what can we do?
Thanks!
Did you file at NBC for AOS? We all in F2A category filing for AOS in NBC are waiting for the EAD/AP since the 1st week of Oct, so all I can say is wait "PATIENTLY"

And the other person is married to a USC.
NVC folks have started getting interview notifications for March 2016 PDs.
I would be really pissed and mad if they get their green cards and we don't even get our EAD/AP by that time.
-
At the least USCIS should do is provide us the EAD/AP at the same time as other F2A categories get their Immigrant Visas at the consulates.
-
So as per the processing times, we are 30 days delayed.. I wonder after how much more delay should we start contacting ombudsman, congressmen and senators etc. USCIS has the most shitty customer service.

Just wanted to share something I read on another forum...
Someone got approval whose received date is 10/3 and did his biometrics 10/31/17. Not sure if he is F2A. He does say marriage based. I've asked him if he is F2A.
My received date is 10/3.. Not heard anything yet

I called USCIS again today since they told me to call them in a week. The L1 officer didn't transfer me to a L2 saying that I need to wait for a month since the last time I put in an SR (Dec 29th). So he told me to call back on Jan 29th...which is 3 days!!! why can't they just transfer and be done with it. Anyway....he also said that we are still within the processing times since now they are working on Aug 1st applications???!!!
Are you going to call USCIS today?

And i have no feeling anymore. No matter what we feel, it will come when USCIS feels, unfortunately.
LOL !
Wish I had gone for Consular processing. At least would have received my GC much faster.

I have a feeling that nothing is going to happen until mid February for all of us (Early Oct 2017 AOS F2A filers). I hope they at least don't delay the GC interview.

Hello, here is my timeline:
NBC
PD 02/08/16
I-130 APPROVED - 05/24/16
AOS I485, I131, I765 received by USCIS 10/13/17
Biometrics done 11/13/17
Waiting for EAD/APAccording to the Visa Bulletin, I'll be current in Feb. What will happen then?
Please provide the location of your USCIS field office where you did your biometrics. Most likely that same office will schedule your interview.

why is it taking forever to approve ours? what is going on w/ USCIS?
my PD 03/09/16 will be current in next month's visa bulletin. It seems that if I don't get my EAD/AP in time, I would simply not care about it as long as my AOS interview is completed quickly (say April 2018).

Yeah, USCIS is getting lazier at updating Processing Time tables.
They used to show the cases being processed two months ago, and to update it around the day 10 each month, but on December they dragged it to 3 months, since they didn't publish until the 26th. Let's hope they update it on the 26th also this month, at least we would get some kind of update.
Oct 31 times were published originally on Dec 26th, 2017, and again "updated" on Jan 5th only to delete "I-765 Application for Employment Authorization Based on TPS for Haiti" which was at June 2, 2017, but was then erased.
Older Processing Time tables can be found at AILA.org
Its a shame ! I called the USCIS phone line again for my EAD/AP card and they told me to wait until Feb 9th as my last SR was on Jan 9th. Still the Dec 19th SR is not assigned for processing.
-
USCIS Processing times tables are not updated this month? It still shows dates as of Oct 31 2017.

Anyone with March 2016 PD got interview letters?

On some different forums im seeing many USC spouses getting approvals on their EADs today. UGHH so unfair when our PD is before theirs!!! ahhh so tired of waiting now. 107 days and counting
Quite possible that they don't have a work visa or any other form of approval that allows them to work legally. Looks like AOS applicants with an existing H1B are on the lowest priority for EADs.

I must be the only one with no EAD for a 10/4/17 receipt date?
Which visa are you in currently and which category are you falling into.

Just called USCIS and spoke to a level 2 officer. He said my application is still pending. He told me to call him back in a week to check on the status.
I guess it means that your case is in queue to be assigned to the officer. Hey at least they told you to call back in a week. I was told to call if I don't hear anything by February.
