Hey guys....my I-130 petition has been approved!! I just got an email saying "Case was sent to the Department of State" for visa processing. Amazing!! I checked my tracker and also account and it says the same thing. I don't know when they approved the case because I called last week Wednesday and I was told by tier 2 officer that my case was still pending and they asked if I wanted a service request done and I said yes. On Monday I noticed my account had been updated saying a service request had been assigned to an officer October 31, 2017. Today about 1:20pm EST I get an email saying my case has been sent to Department of State. Maybe I will have a letter when I get home. I would like to know when it was approved.
PD: April 19
Potomac Service Center
Wishing everyone still waiting all the best and patience (I know its frustrating....the wait is not easy on the marriage. I have been so depressed).
Congratulations

I would assume you are asking about how to dial your receipt number that starts with YSC....simply dial 972 then the rest of the numbers. Hope that helps
Thanks so much

Nothing yet on my side. Seen cases in May getting approved here and on other websites. So I hope Nov will be our month. Also, I have known many users here who get approved, by them stating so in other topics but they never update their timeline. I hope Visajourney would put reminders for users to do so to improve the timeline accuracy. Fingers crossed.
Greetings... whats the name of the other web site... and i have no idea why others didnt update thier timeline. I hope they do soon

I don't know about it, other service center i. e. Potomac and Texas are now processing of April /may for green card holders, so hope for best for our service center and our case too but I am also tensed because the date august 23, 2016 has not changed from last one year even a day. I just know after approval of i-130 it takes around 6-8 month for overall immigration processing.
Once again ignore whats on the site. It is not correct. Just keep hoping for an approval soon.

My wife is in Pakistan. i live in USA.
my PD is May 17 2017
As per my homework California service center is taking around 1 year to approve i130 for green card holders. and overall immigration process will take around 2 to 3 years.
Anyone can correct me if i am wrong.
Not correct... it doesnt take up to 2 to 3 years... and not too worry i am sure you will soon get an approval with the uscis

Kindly give the pd of your parent case. And that will help determine an answer

USCIS processing tables by no mean are accurate. It is more reliable to see approvals here on VisaJourney's timelines of members to have an accurate look. Currently, I have seen many approvals toward the end of April. The latest was approved had a due date of April 25th and that received their approval NOA2 10 days ago. If that to be reliable at all, I think we should start seeing May approvals starting next week and moving forward. I guess nothing to do but waiting and see.
Amen to that. Stay Blessed
