  1. He must be your primary sponsor and complete a for I-134. If your consulate allows a co-sponsor, than you will likely need one. He/she will need to complete an I-134 as well.

  5. So, Harry had his interview today in Amsterdam.

Everything was really easy, he wasn't asked very many questions.

The worst thing was waiting in line to get his celphone and his mp3

player back as those had to be turned in to security.

We got tickets for him to come home on March 4th.

Those interested can see his write-up of the experience in the Regional - Netherlands thread.

hey!!! how are you? anyway... a very big CONGRATULATIONS to you both!!!

may you have a happy life together...  :dance::dance:

  9. Is your Canadian work permit still valid even though you are no longer employed? You are required to change your work permit if your employment terms change and I would guess not being employed any longer would constitute a change.

    thank you for the reply...

yes..my canadian work permit is still valid. i am allowed to stay here & look for a job before it expires. but when it does expire - i need to leave canada.

  10. hi everyone! i need your help here please...

i'll go directly to the point!!!

last friday - january 19,2007 i received a letter from the embassy - i thought it was packet 3 but it wasn't. it was a letter asking for evidence that i am staying here legally. i have a work permit but it was issued in ontario. right now..i am unemployed, staying here in vancouver but my stay here is very legal. i'll fax my work permit. but do i still have to attach a letter stating my condition or will it complicate it more?

    thanks for the help!

  11. hi there! just a few questions here...regarding police certificate...

i am the beneficiary... a filipino citizen residing in canada unde a working permit. i called the rcmp today & ask what are the requirements for me to get a police check..they said that i need the letter from the embassy & 2 ID's (it can be a passport & one that states the add where i live in BC)... i only have my passport & my work permit with me. but my work permit's add is in ontario but right now i am staying at a friend's house in vancouver. if i let them see my work permit..would that be a problem? would they question why i am here in BC? or should i get a BC ID?

any thoughts here will be of great help! thanks a million for your replies! :help:
