They've generally needed these for the green card/visa I wonder if they use the biometrics photo now.
My visa has the one they took from biometrics. Don’t know about the green card

Awesome I’m glad for you! Did they tell you how many days before you received your visa?

Congrats! My husbands is there next week! Did they ask many questions?
Not at all, just how we met, how long we’ve been together, how often he has come to see me, and how long we’ve been married. No evidence asked for

When you expedite the passport in the Dominican Republic, you pay an extra fee, like rd$2,500.00 pesos and you can have it the same day or the next day.... But I am talking about the passport, the visa takes longer., you can't expedite de visa.
Ah I thought you meant the stamped passport with the visa. Nvm

You can expedite the passport, but not the visa.

its really frustrating i hv to wait till this year Income Tax Returns filling n i also idk what will gonna happen after that.
How come they didn’t catch the low income at the NVC stage? What was your income for previous years?

Have you considered an infopass? I would also try getting a restraining order since he doesn’t sound like someone to trust and he’s still around.
Even if he stays there you can report him.

What kind of chats is he sending to the embassy? Does he have any evidence he could use against you?

My wife put down that she was subject to the 2 year HRR and we submitted a document showing her times in and out of the Dominican Republic, as well as passport photos
We were only able to postpone the interview until Jan. 31 - 5 days before our 2 years ends - the earliest we could postpone was until May if anything.
That shouldn’t be a big deal. Maybe they can put you under AP if they are so strict about it and issue the visa after the 2 years are fullfilled.
-
I would postpone the interview to be on the safe side. I personally added my visits to the US to my timeline and thank God my interview date falls after that. What did you answer on the DS-260 where it asked if she had fulfilled the 2 year requirement?

my J1 is about to end and i am about to enter my grace period. meaning i can only apply after my departure?
Are you going back to Nigeria?

I will still be a graduate student during my next application. And i am applying from Germany. Thats where i studied but i am a nigeroa
Ahh well applying during the J1 program worked for me
-
There is no time frame. I applied for a B2 visa while I was still in J1. Since you finished your program I would suggest you have home ties like a job etc.
-
I traveled both before and during the CR1 process and I wasn’t questioned. Just be normal and don’t tell them more than they ask you. There is no harm in visiting your husband.

Any interview dates yet?
Also, is the date they say on phone as Case complete the CC date (Nov7), coz the date on the letter from NVC has different date (Nov 15).
So which would be the case complete date?
Nov 7.

I have a question about possible RFE, my fiance and I met online on the Instagram site. We both included that we met online in out letters. If we get requested information, I will not be able to provide that because we both delete our profiles on there after. I do have pictures of when we met but I'm kinda worried about that. Also the person who filed for me didn't ask me so send pictures but after reading on here pictures of us together are necessary. I'm thinking of starting a scrap book. Is this a bad idea? Will immigration reject that? should I just send a couple of pics?
100 Days since NOA1 and still nothing....
I didn’t send any pictures to USCIS and got NOA2 without a problem.
