C'mon, you sure will and I'll be here to rejoice with you. I know a few people who called yesterday, got nothing but had their dates today. I called in this morning and was told it was scheduled yesterday.
Please remain positive and ring that line again.
I'm waiting for the good news !

I know of one person on the other thread who got a checklist and kept calling and calling until he got a supervisor to agree to review on the phone the additional document he had to submit - and he got an immediate Case Complete then. You could do the same. I had a checklist and gave up trying after a few calls although if I'd known then that it was possible, I would have kept trying.

Just hang in there, it'll pass. No date still. I believe they'll start scheduling next week against November. Hopefully, I'll get a date.

Hello everyone! I had my interview yesterday at the US Consulate in Bucharest and was approved!  I checked CEAC today and the status said ISSUED so I should be receiving my passport with the visa in a day or so! I cannot tell you how relieved I am. Good luck to you, VJ fam! You all have been a great support system! 

Approved today at the embassy in Belize!

@Louie1988 I'm not applying via the Brazilian embassy because I live in Canada but I'm Brazilian so your pain hits close to home. Sadly, it seems that the Brazilian slowness has extended even to the US embassy there? :/
 
I really hope you get a date soon. That seems so so frustrating  I think I would keep calling and asking about it anyway, but I'm sure that's annoying too. Hang in there!!!

POE was yesterday at OAK (Oakland International Airport) - took maybe 10 minutes, didn't go to any different room or anything, everything was done at the counter, no questions asked besides which immigrant visa I had...  just getting settled in our new home now

Had our visa approved today, after  18 months of long waiting and 6 more hours at the consulate in Cd Juarez there where no further questions asked excep who's petitioning, how long have we known each other and where do we plan to live, and for my son, his name, his age and his relationship with my husband (stepfather) and that's it, no pictures, no more evidence no nothing, thank you very much to this great comunnity, without you I would have gone crazy a year ago lol and for those still waiting don't lose hope! There's a light at the end of the tunnel for everyone! Wish everybody the best!!!

Thanks again. Well....I still called last night and didn't get a date so I'll just wait till tomorrow before calling again. I learnt on this forum that spousal categories get scheduled earlier than employment based categories. I'm praying for a miracle though.
