Ahhhh! I think I read somewhere that it’s the CRI-89 that I should enter. I don’t have the letter with both the receipt numbers on. I’ve lost it. I’ve logged to DHS now and still says reviewing the case same for caste status app.

You should call USCIS, explain your situation to an agent...they would help you obtain the case number for your I-751.

Good Afternoon, Fellow VJ's my Husband is a May 2017 filer. He received his Permanent Residence Card\Approval in July without an interview. He got an extension notice yesterday in the mail for his old card with conditions. I assume these letters are being automatically generated by the system due to the expiration being soon. Has anyone else received this in error with Permanent Residence? Should he call USCIS to clarify?

    Little concerned.

    Thank you

No need...He already received his 10-year GC.

Can someone help me out here?
My lawyer sent it to Vermont Service Center 424 days ago...
If I want to call USCIS what would be the easiest way to get to a human being to speak with?

    Thanks...

To talk to an agent over the phone, dial the USCIS number (800-375-5283)...when prompted, press 1 then 2 then 2 then 2. Make sure to wait about 1.5 seconds in between. This would only work Monday through Friday, from 8am to 6pm.

    I hope this helps.

Mine is WAC17227. My case receipt date is May 11th. Looks like they have around 10,000 cases between each number group case , lets say from 1722300000 to 1722400000. Would that be possible? If yes, they are truly busy. However, from 17223 May 9th filers to 17227 for May 11th filers, sounds hard to believe that there are thousands of cases in the spam of 3 days.

The case numbers don’t follow a specific date order...Your receipt date is your reference.

  5. Good news fellas...woke up at 4 am this morning (that’s another story) and decided to check my email, when I saw a communication from DHS stating that action has been taken on my case. I went and checked my status and found that my card was in production...see attached.

My case number is WAC17223XXXXX. As you can see my status went from “Case Received At Local Office” to “Card In Production”. No RFE or “Case Transferred To Another Office”. I have not applied for N-400.

The buttons are disabled --- I was able to go into console and remove the disabled param, but that only affects the style (instead of grey text, it changes to blue and gets a grey box background on hover). But the click handler is still not working.

Best guess is they have a javascript bug in Chrome and Safari (which use the same underlying engine). The JS code is large/obfuscated and they don't have any error messages / debug info.

Best solution for now is to use Firefox or IE or Edge if possible.

Well explained, even though I only get a sentence out of it...lol 🤣

#######?!  That's not what I see at all.  Chatsworth office is my local office, and there's none (as usual).  When I put in the zipcode for the LA office, it shows this week, and no appts, then won't let me look at next week at all.  And yes, I tried clicking on the "next week" arrow.

Try using a computer...would perhaps solve your issue.

Our info is almost the same.  our initial date is May 2, 2017.  And when all that excitement happened back in February, that's when we were lured back into waiting hell.  We'd pretty much put all this waiting behind us and forgot about it all.  It's been in the forefront of our minds since.  :(

We haven't gotten anything, and as of yesterday, the extension letter is also expired.  Cool.  And even though I've tried ALL SUMMER to get an appointment at our local office for the passport stamp, no luck!  :(

That's worrisome...you should try a second closest office or do a walk-in, I have read posts where some members mentioned that.

    Hello Guys,

Can you please advise on my case:

I submitted my application of I-751 to Vermont office on June 30 2018, the post office has delivered on July 9 2018, and as of today, I still have not received anything, not even the extension form I-797C, and they have not even cash my check yet. And my green card is expired on August 9 2018, which is next Thursday. I am quite worried. Anyone experienced like this before? any advise? will USCIS send the extension before my GC expired?

    Thank you all!

Probably an initial data entry delay, though you should call them and follow up.

I got my notice that my case has passed preliminary review and has been moved the TSC. I think it showed up on Monday.

    I filed on May 8 '17.

I'll be so glad when this is all done. Right now I'm fighting with my school to prove I can stay in the country for the length of my graduate program. If I was on the east coast I would have been approved by now >:(

My date is May 9, 2017..."Case Was Received At My Local Office" since 2/26/18, and no updates since then.
