don't worry i had the same case with the US embassy at Cairo, Egypt . my CC date was on May 24th and i've just got my interview email today, hope that you get the dates soon.

FYI, i live in Abu dhabi so at first i got both my daughters cases ID as ABDxxxxxxxxx , then i requested to transfer it to different embassy (that was before CC date, cause i knew that the embassy in Abu Dhabi is so backed up and the wait time might take up to 6 month to get an interview date ) so they transferred it to Cairo and the reason was that both my daughters was born in Egypt so they accepted my request.

He then said to use assets the requirement is much more when you don't have a job. 

So I asked, maybe it's 5 times more, he said, I don't know but there is a calculation, I will do it later. If all is well, the passport will arrive in 10 days. 

Then we said, we have a joint sponsor if needed, julien clarified that yeah, we have her paperwork. 

So then he took it, said. "That's great, no need to calculate now. All is good. Having problems with the computers so you should receive your passport with the visa in 10 business days. Enjoy moving back to the US. :-) 

 

So yay, we're finished!!! Thank you everyone for all of your support. Heading home tonight, will be back online tomorrow to give a better review. Thanks again everyone for your well wishes. Really made me smile.

congratulations @JBMG , and to keep the good news flowing i just got my P4 email for both my daughters , the interview will be on the 6th of September .

We can assume that the following countries have released their August interview dates. If you've recently received a CC, and see your country below. I suggest calling the NVC everyday.. If you do not see your country below and are still waiting for it, sort the spreadsheet by country, and see when they received their interview notification.. It could be that your country releases their dates closer to the 15th of every month. Just called and I waited for 10 min until rep answered I waked regarding the interview and I got the typical reply that they will inform me by email when there is an interview date available , I asked her to transfer me to supervisor she refused cause will not inform me with any other reply , but they are still scheduling for august

thank you, yes as NVC Rep told me before that US Embassy at Egypt is one of the busiest embassies and the wait time is from 60 to 90 days we where just hoping that my daughters could be there before school so we can enroll them as early as possible .

Cairo is a busy Embassy and sometimes they schedule quickly and other times no. I believe they tend to be the busiest during spring and summer months.

 

Every Embassy is different and process quicker or slower than the other; although it is hard not to get discouraged, stay positive everyone, because what you will get in the end with make all this hardship, headache, and fatigue, worth it.

@JBMG I called NVC yesterday and today morning and when I asked him about my daughters cases the rep told me that US EMBASSY at Egypt is one of the busiest embassies and it is a normal thing that I didn't get interview date.😔 , ps congratulation on your P4 letter 👏🏻

don't really know  , maybe because it is a national holiday here in Egypt for the whole week due to Eid Al Fitr
