Thanks! When you get the automated system you have to say you’re looking for an Infopass appointment and then you’ll get routed to an officer eventually. Good luck!

Thanks for advise, that worked. Actually the waiting time was pretty short. Now I am just waiting for an office to call me back to schedule an appointment. They said I should   expect a call within 30 days but I wonder what is the average waiting time?

We just got notice that the interview for my wife’s N400 is scheduled for 6/14. Of course no movement on her I-751 since biometrics were taken in July 2021…but we called the service center last week and the officer recommended I attend the interview and we take all our i-751 paperwork as they typically will do a combo interview (as others have said). Fingers crossed that actually happens so we can wrap this all up!

Congratulations! Could you please tell what did you do to get connected with the officer? I just can't get through when I am calling.

Nobody has answer your question for sure, I have a cousin waiting 2 years and 2 months now and no answer, he will make an appointment with uscis to get his passport stamped and keep working,

I have 1 year waiting roc, and I applied for citizenship on April 27 , 2022 and no answer from roc yet.

So best you can do is get an appointment and get your passport stamp

Thank you! Do you happen to know how can I get that appointment scheduled? I can't get through the line to talk to representative when I am calling USCIS.

While you'll likely need an extension, have you already applied or considered applying for citizenship? People are split on whether or not N400 application will 'push' your I751 to move forward. Though what a lot of people, mostly April-June 2020 filers, have been doing is file for FOIA which somehow has been helpful in 'unstucking' a case.

Two years is a long time but there are some who have waited even longer. Not saying the wait is worth it because it's not and totally sucks, but there are others who share the misery. I hope your case moves ahead soon!!

Yes, I did apply for N400 in April of this year. The reused my biometrics from I751 and reviewing my case. I just have never heard from anyone here that case was transferred to NBS.

  5. Hi All! I am April 2020 Filer but seems like noone in that channel can help me therefore I decided to post here - after my biometrics have been taken I immediately received notification from USCIS that my case was transferred to the National Benefits Center for processing as part of a standard process. Does anyone know what does that mean and how long it takes for NBS to review/approve the case? It's been siting with USCIS for 2 years already. My 24 months extension letter ends up in mid-June so I wonder if I can potentially get my new card on time.

  6. Hi All! Maybe someone had similar experience - after my biometrics have been taken I immideately received notification from USCIS that my case was transferred to the National Benefits Center for processing as part of a standard process. Does anyone know what does that mean and how long it takes for NBS to review/approve the case? It's been siting with USCIS for 2 years already. My 24 months extension letter ends up in mid-June so I wonder if I can potentially get my new card on time.

  7. Hey Everyone! I remember there was someone here who did not apply for naturalization and is patiently waiting for the greencard like me so this information could be useful -  I received the 24 months extensions letter on Monday dated end of October. So it looks they are sending those out.

I did not have time to apply for naturalization yet and am still waiting for my bios appointment to be rescheduled. Hope my permanent greencard process will keep moving since they touched my case to check and send that letter.

If your new extension letter does not show up or your ROC is not approved, you should call USCIS 3 or 4 weeks before your departure date and request an info pass appointment to for i551(ATID) stamp for your passport, make it clear to USCIS you are traveling internationally and bring poof of the trip to the appointment to escalate the need for the stamp.

How did you get that appointment scheduled to get the stamp? My extension ends in mid-December and I need that stamp too.

It is  800 375 5283 and when the automated system ask what can you hep you with just say info pass and it will connect you with  an agent, always worked with me with a few minutes waiting time. Did you file your N400?

Thanks much! No, not yet, I wanted to get the permanent greencard first and then file for naturalization but if they won't process my permanent greencard until this one expires I will have to file N400.

I called USCIS and requested to speak with a tier 2 agent, (not sure if that helped to get my case moving) and few days later my N400 application has been scheduled for an interview, so am assuming we will have a combo interview. Hope you hear some progress soon.

What number did you use to dial in? I don't even have my bios rescheduled yet for permanent greencard. So frustrated.

  11. Hello All, not sure if anyone here is in the same position as I am but I wanted to describe my situation to see if anyone can give an advise.

I am still waiting for my permanent green card. My biometrics was scheduled back in late December but the letter from USCIS that has the date and time got in my hands on the day I had that interview and there was nothing for me to do but to reschedule it that I did immediately the next day. The letter with request to reschedule was delivered to USCIS in the begging of January but I haven't heard anything yet.

Does anyone know what number I should dial to call USCIS and how long it takes them to respond on such request? I heard they are backlogged and now it takes up to 3 months to process anything.

I would appreciate any thoughts or advise.

I called them and they said to send an email, how long did it take since you sent the email until they responded ?

I reached out to them on 05/23 which is exactly on 30th day after they received my case and they replied on June 3rd. Email I received came from USCIS-CaseStatus@dhs.gov so I am thinking this is not lockbox since I also submitted a non-delivery notice in parallel.

Also my green card ends on 6/11 and when I called USCIS on 6/2 I mentioned this to the representative I spoke to. Again not sure if this helped or not.

I received this in my email today from USCIS-CaseStatus@dhs.gov

"The status of this service request is:

Recently, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) sent you a notice of receipt for the Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence (Form I-751) that you filed although, you informed USCIS that you did not receive that receipt notice.  A receipt notice was mailed to the address provided with this inquiry.  Please confirm your current address with your local United States Postal Service office and follow the instructions on the notice.

We hope this information is helpful to you."

Does that mean they are mailing me another NOA?

    Anyone get this same response?

My email said the below and I received NOA 4 business days later.

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) records indicate your Receipt Notice was mailed to the address on file and the notice was not returned as undeliverable by the United States Postal Service (USPS).  We have requested the notice be sent to the address listed in our systems. You should receive it within 10-14 business days.
NOTE: Please be sure you are registered to receive mail at the address listed in our systems.  Your name must be physically placed on the mailbox.  Keep the USPS informed as to who resides at your address, especially when individuals with different last names receive mail at a specified address.  This and failure to submit address changes are the two main reasons mail is returned to us as undeliverable.
We hope this information is helpful to you.

Thank you. We sent it on April 22. Emailed lockbox when we didn’t receive notice and made an online inquiry. It was the online inquiry who told us they were going to send it out. We sent the online inquiry on May 24th after it had been 30 days past the receive date. So it took about 2 weeks after the inquiry to receive the letter.

Congratulations! How long it took after they replied that they will send it out? They replied on my inquiry on Wed 6/3 so I am just trying to figure out when I should expect to receive it.

  15. Hi everyone,

quick update on my case - I just received an email from lockbox saying that my NOA was mailed to the address on file and the notice was not returned as undeliverable by the USPS. They have requested the notice be sent to the address listed in the systems and I should receive it within 10-14 business days.

Not sure what happened and whether it's USPS or USCIS issue to be honest but since a lot of people did not receive their NOA I believe there are issues on USCIS side. I will keep you posted.

Select the option that says you do not know your case number or do not know how to find it.

Thank you so much! Just had a call and it got the same reply about lockbox and non-delivery notice. No info about passport stamp.

I will now call them every day and maybe I be lucky to get to the person who will be able to assist in scheduling in appointment to get a passport stamp.

And my greencard ends on 6/11. This is so frustrating.
