Woke up to an approval notice text today
NOA1 - Dec 19
NOA2 - May 7
I had been following the page and reading comments everyday for a while and you all are awesome. Praying for everyone who hasn't received their NOA2 yet to get some good news soon. Petition before and after mine were both adjudicated days and weeks ago before mine was, so I don't think there's a need to worry if that happens as I saw some comments yesterday in here about that. Sooner or later USCIS will have to adjudicate so it will come! Stay strong in faith my Dec fam

This is true! Sometimes the first application was not strong and sometimes you get really unlucky with the CO. I have heard a lot of success stories about refiling the K1.
We were denied and, after much research, decided to refile. In retrospect our case was weak even though our relationship was strong. We took a much needed break from talking or thinking about Visas, visited each other and regrouped. This time our case is much stronger, we have more visits and more pics. I am confident we will be together!
That's a great suggestion. I will contact my congressman before my fiance's interview.
Hey Natasha-Mehdito. I hope your process ended up going well. We did the same thing you did (re-filing after denial at Embassy level) and now just waiting for NOA2 or response. Question is, did you have you to do anything to cancel at the USCIS level before re-filing or you just re-filed?

128 days here... Everyday I wake up believing today will be the day.
Same here. I check email and case status site every 30mins from 9am to 12pm everyday lol. 118 days now. Everyday that passes, the sooner we are 💪

Hi February family. Does anyone have an idea of how long NVC takes to send petitions to Embassy after assigning a case number? NVC received my petition on June 19. I called and obtained my case number on June 21. Now just wondering how long they will hold it before they send it out to my Embassy in Johannesburg.

Has anyone having NOA2 around June 9 called NVC for a case number yet?
Mine is June 8 and NVC received it on Monday. Case number not assigned yet. Does anyone know how long it might take for NVC to assign a case number and mail the file to Embassy? And how long the mail might to take to reach Embassy. My Embassy will be Johannesburg

My NOA2 is 06/08. I called NVC on Monday and file was not received. I read somewhere on another site saying USCIS probably sends approved petitions to NVC in batches, so if anyone with date range around 06/08 hears their file received, please let us know We have come a long way and I feel for those who are still waiting for NOA2s. It's a matter time their time of glory will come as well!

Hang in there! I'm sure you will have your NOA2 in a matter of days. Here is the link to sign up for Informed Delivery:

You probably have to create an online account with USPS first. It's free to do so. Your patience will pay off and just keep on being strong and courageous!

Congrats! That's exciting to know they are approving RFEs quickly. I didn't know about the usps informed delivery so I just signed up!
hopefully I'll have the same luck soon!
Yes they seem to be approving RFEs quickly! It's a matter of days. You will have your NOA2 soon as well.. My online case status still shows RFE received, so USCIS seems not to be updating it to show approvals. Informed Delivery is a great tool. After you sign up, it will take about two days for it actually start working. Good luck and I wish you the best!

Guys just wanted to update you that my USPS informed delivery showed me I have mail from USCIS. From the image I see a small part that says petition approved.
NOA1 - 02/08
RFE - 05/25
RFE response received - 06/02
CSC
Informed Delivery with NOA2 - 06/12 (I assume my fiance and I were approved around 06/09 if informed delivery says we have mail today)
Thank you all for the support and comfort in this journey. I wish the best of luck for all who are still waiting for NOA2s. It will come soon. It's all a game of waiting and patience

The timeline between when I sent my RFE back to USCIS and my NOA2 approval was 8 days. I was approved on May 23.
Thank you Natalie! It's very comforting to know you were approved in 8 days

My RFE response was also received June 2nd. I'll keep you updated if I get anything soon I know it's helpful having some sort of an idea.
My RFE was also the same as yours! I'm hoping we can get approvals soon! It's been a long wait! When was your NOA1?

Yes I agree that it helps to have some kind of an idea. What a coincidence we have the same RFE and response date! My NOA1 is Feb 8. I'll also let you know if I get any update. Best wishes

My RFE response was received on June 2 and I'm hoping for NOA2 by June 18. Hope you receive yours any day now. My heart sinks every time I check email to find no updates. Let us know when you receive it.

Congrats to everyone who has received their NOA2s after submitting their RFE responses. CSC received my RFE response on 06/02. Today makes 1 week. Still waiting. It's motivating to see NOA2s averaging two weeks from this thread. I'm hoping mine will take the same. On my RFE they requested primary evidence for meeting in person within the past two years, such as passport stamps, etc. Initially I submitted hotel receipts, rental car reservation, itineraries, and pictures, but it was all secondary evidence. I keep checking my email for possible case updates but seems as if the online case status tracker, email, and text notifications are not really reliable when it comes to NOA2 part since a lot of people have mentioned receiving the actual mail without any updates to their cases online or any notifications. What a year it has been. One thing for sure is I'm going to need a beer when I get my hands on that NOA2 someday!

Congrats to all those who got NOA2!!! My priority date is Feb 8 and I just got an email notification saying they mailed me an RFE today. My case status has also been updated online. Does anyone know how long it might take for them to process the response to the RFE after I send them back whatever it is they requested?

My fiance is from a non-PP country too. I was strongly leaning towards joining the list of plaintiffs but I’m becoming less motivated to do so after reading that new plaintiffs from non-PP countries are less likely to benefit from the current injunction unless new orders are made regarding the unreasonable wait.
I hope a new lawsuit can be done that is also directly applicable to non-PP countries and unreasonable long waiting times
