Honestly I don't know who would want to spend YEARS putting time and effort into coming to America unless you were really desperate or in LOVE. Life is not easy just because you live in America.

Straight forward answer:
1. If you have been abused and can provide strong evidence of abuse by USC spouse then you can apply for VAWA from your timeline and case perspective.
2. If there is no abuse proof then you can not get GC through this marriage. You will fall out of status soon. Leave the country or try to change in another visa like F1 as most popular one.
