I totally agree with you, risks are too high and i might lost my passport along the way. Yup, be returning to Manila before depature to US, God willing. Hello. Need help please. Our K1 visa has been put under consideration and it will need a week for it until a decision can be reached, this is in USEm in Singapore. Now am thinking of going back to Manila while waiting for the result as i already booked my ticket and my work has already ended. 

Can i go home and just wait, then if God willing out visa will be approved, i will just send my passport to my friend in Singapore and then ask her to courier it to USEm? Will they require me to be physically present in Sg for the visa release if ever?

Yes it is. So i wonder why it is not being considered especially that he is retired. I pointed that out in my email to the USEm, waiting for their reply today.

Hi again, thank you for all the comments. He did received the a large amount both from insurance payout and inheritance. He did made the deposits in 2016 and 2017 respectively. He is a retured corporate lawyer so he also has some checking account. We submitted bank statements of his cash deposits but not the statement of his checking acct which is only around $35,000 currently. Will his checking acct be enough to cover the income differece?  Thanks in advance for any input..

Hi. Just did my interview for a k1 visa in singapore, and it went well, but they are asking for more documents to be submitted as they say i should nominate a joint sponsor. My fiance's annual income is $20,150 which is below the income requiremnt, but we are puzzled as to why they dont consider his cash deposit in bank which is almost $500,000. Is cash asset not considered if ur below the income requiremnt? It confuses us a lot as i read that cash assets can be use to cover the income difference. Ur thoughts will be much appreciated. Thank you.

Hello everyone. I would like to seek information on how long will it take for a k1 visa case to he transfered from Singapore to Manila? I did my interview here in Sg and they are still asking for some documents but am leaving Sg in 10 days time and we are thinking if its best to transfer it from Sg to Manila. I wonder how long it will take for the transfer? Any info will be highly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello. We received our K1 visa approval fro. USCIS last month, and we called NVC and they were avle to provide me my case number via phone, how do i proceed? Will i be able to have my medical exams done without the letter from NVC? Or should i wait for the packet? Am residing here currently in Singapore. Would appreciate all the info i can get. Thank you!

Thank you for the help! We did send an email to NVC as the case is still with them with a copy of my passport attached. Hope to get it fix before they send my case in Singapore US embassy. Crossing my fingers. I do appreciate your time answering my query. God bless!

Hello. Just want to seek your help. I am from the Philippines but currently working amd residing here in Singapore. Upon filling up the k1 visa form, we stated that I would like to do the processing of my visa in US embassy in Manila.  We received our noa2 last May 9, 2019 and we called nvc since its been a month and we havent receive any news from them. Over the phone, they told us my case number and learned that it will be in US embassy here in Singapore. How can i file for change of consulate location from Singapore to Manila? Hope to get help from you guys. Thanks in advance.
