Had an email last night saying I am now in line for interview. 

Same story with me. Received text message, no email and nothing updated online.

I received my biometrics appointment letter last Friday (6/09) for 6/20. I did a walk-in earlier today without any problems.
 
Hopefully everything clears fast and I can be in-line for interview fairly soon. However, I read a post that stated you can't be in-line for interview more than 30 days before you eligibility date. Does anyone know that for a fact? I've reviewed the last few months trackers, and it does seem to be true. If so, I won't be eligible to be in line till after 6/28.
 
Finally, one thing I'll note, I did a walk-in today in NYC - never seen that ASC soooooooooooooooooooo empty in the 4 times I've been there! Went in a few minutes before 3PM. There was one person they were processing, one person that had just come before I did and myself...that's it. I was in and out in 15 minutes. For those of you that haven't been there, I've always seen the place with 50+ people waiting around, and takes usually an hour to process.
 
I found the above to be odd since the number of N400 applicants has increased roughly 50% from Q1 2015, based on the statistics recently released (haven't looked at the trend for other benefits, but can only assume a similar trend). The troublesome part is that pending applications have increased nearly 100% in the same period. So the agency is clearly not equipped to process the increase in applications, and we can only expect an ever expanding backlog if the trend continues and the agency doesn't make changes. On the other hand - if what I saw today is indicative of the current trend showing a decrease in applications, it is a welcome sign as it will give the agency some reprieve to clear out some back log. But is difficult to jump to that conclusion based on one data point, and the fact that ASCs process biometrics for various benefits. Regardless - I am keeping my fingers crossed!

Ge08, I got an email from USCIS said that they mailed the letter for fingerprinting today too.   Hope I get the mail soon so I know the date.

It was a walk-in. My real appointment date is on the 9th but i am scheduled also for a training class same day at work. Its my day off today so i decided to take chances if they will accept me or not. Honestly, they did not really looked at the date and time of my appointment. The guard just check my green card if it has the same name in the appointment letter.  It was not busy there today. It only took me less than 30min and biometric done.  The frustrating part was driving alone to that office and my guide was just my phone (gps).
Im happy i made it through especially that part driving  an interstate which im really scared of. 

The NOA is the confirmation of USCIS receiving and accepting your/our packets.  The biometrics notice is a SEPARATE notice, but also technically a I-797C.  Sometimes they can come very close together.  For example, mine were days apart, for an appointment 2 or so weeks later.
 
To add some further details: my NOA lists out my DOB, address and then asks me "to verify the personal information and immediately notify our office at the address or phone number below if there are any changes.  Upon receipt of all required record checks, you will be scheduled to appear for an interview at your local USCIS field office."

Husband went to fingerprints today.  He went in about 2 hours earlier and they let him through.

So my bio appointment was for june 14. I went to their office and did a walk in. Very nice officers. No questions asked 
im on the phone if anyone can edit my timeline I would appreciate it 
 

Got my biometrics letter today

Did you sent yours overnight? 
I sent my overnight and I checked the tracking number and knew they delivered it the next day. I guess they got a bit behind because of the holiday. Hoping you get your notification today! I got the notification late afternoon, around 4:30pm. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.  

We have very similar stats, but I sent my package on May 23 along with a G-1145, but haven't received any notifications yet.  Good luck and let us know when you get NOA.  

I sent my N-400 today from Houston, Tx to Lewisville, Tx. I updated the spreadsheet with my info, hopefully correctly lol Good luck to everyone
