My senator just asked for proof other cases that are approved around my cases and after. I am about to blow their mind with the data i have lol...

I'm thinking about a congressional inquiry. My case was approved 10/23 and on 11/27 the NVC has still not received it

So now that I know NVC has received the case, how long do they actually take to assign a case number?

We Noa2 Oct 10th .
Nvc received Oct 19th , assigned case number and it's still stuck there . Nearly 6 weeks now. We are panicking, upset, just don't understand why us when we had no RFE ? We thought this was the easier part but it's even more stressful than waiting for Noa2?!
is anyome else still stuck at NVC under AP? 
Does anyone have any information how long we could be here for?

No, I mentioned my case was approved and hadn't received receipt notice from NVC and other couples have when their NOA2 was after mine

Just so everyone knows, I called USCIS and talked with a tier 2 to put in a request to see if the case was actually sent to the NVC. They said they would respond by Dec 9.
 
Meanwhile NVC told me a while ago they should receive it by November 29th at the latest..

NOA2 dated 18th Oct and no news yet  

26 days and no case number  i don’t know what’s happening  

Anyone else having any issues contacting the NVC this morning? I've been waiting 22 days since NOA2 and still have not received a case number
