In my opinion, nothing you can do...We can keep bugging them if we want but, it's not going to really speed up the process.... (sigh)... But you can try just to follow up.  I made a phone call follow up last week and requested for an update with confirmation number on such request, customer service told me to wait 15-30 days for USCIS response,....At least I tried, though it's outside of my control anymore.  Some are just lucky having 3-4 naturalization process, while others are not so much.

We received our interview letter! Would someone please update the grid for me? Letter received on 5/15/17 and the interview is scheduled for 6/19/17. Hope this means more interview letters are in the mail for fellow January filers. Good luck to all!

Finally got a response !!!!!!

It depends on the individual field offices, yes. I do not know, for certain,  if being inline indicates the background checks are complete.  No,  I have not called them. I have zero interest in spending half the day waiting to speak to someone who  cannot help me.
My field office covers a very large area. I know there were backups as a result of the chaos IOE filers faced, and I know pre and post election a great many people applied for citizenship. I'd frankly be surprised given all that if they were not backed up. And, I am in no hurry whatsoever.
