  1. GreenTran,

I am so sorry to hear this. I was hoping to see a pink slip for you. I agree that they may be concerned of only visiting one time. All you can do is bring them evidence to prove your relationship. If you need a good lawyer at a reasonable price PM me.

    Good Luck!!!

yeah but it would have been nice if they looked at some evidence.its only required we meet one time in 2 years .this guy seemed to try say i came with some one and left with some one .and asked how much of that time i spent with her and when was the last time she was good to her exhusband.30 minutes of questions.i could have went to vietnam more but i thought having a steady job and taking care of her and my responabilitys would matter more .shes going to see marc e tomorow. maybe they should require people to go to a polygraph examiner if they want to be so sceptic

  2. hanhs interview was supposed to be at 10 am she got there at 7 am and waited until 330 pm a man rushed through her papers and then she was called to window 12. it was a old man and he grilled her for 30 minutes and then gave her a green slip saying need more proof of true relationship.he didnt look at any evidence only pictures.we had western union receipts where i send her 150 dollars every 2 weeks and phone bills back to 2005 emails back to dec of 2004 and cards and letters .he seemed more concerned about who i came with to vietnam and who i went home with .i came alone and left alone i spent the whole month with her only and asked do i love her kids she said i send money for gift for them on birthday and asked the last time she saw ex husband and why divorced only after met me.asked if i had a crimminal and she said i had fight with dad and charges was dropped and 15 years ago fight ex wife and pay 200 fine.he asked why i divorced and she said ex was a light woman with the men.he asked did i ever threaten her or violate her she said never. what was dates i married. where do my daughter live . how long she was seperated from her husband before divorced.who was old man in picture she said a man we made friend at hotel. he asked who took some of the piuctures we had she said a friendasked how many times i go to vietnam she say one time he asked how long and she say one month and he asked how much that time i spend with her she say all the day and night. he looked at some pictures more one of me with her name tattooed on my arm aand gave her green slip and said read it. what do i do now peoples ????

  3. got pink

Got to be honest here, i was sweating big bullets on this.

First, she does not hardly get any mail sent to her, so we only had like a 10 day notice to get ready.

here is the best advise i can give you.. ***** get on your police report now if you live outside HCMC ******

when she went to her local police office station to get her report they told her 3 months!!

We ended up paying a local "lawyer" $250.00 USD to get her report just hours before her interview.

I will fill in more about that later.

i just want to thank all my Vietnam VJ members for all of your support and help during this very stressful time. some of you have been great with your positive messages and advise.

i will pray for all of you.

You (we) all are very special people. we have love that does not know boundries. our love we have is beyond politics.

Please just stay focus, remember what is important!

    i will keep you updated.

Thank you again... David and Xuan

congratulations!!!! i hope the pinks keep coming

  4. In this price range, you might also check out hotels in the Pham Ngu Lao area (i.e. Bui Vien, Pham Ngu Lao, and De Tham streets).

Check out that first link from Tony/Anthea, and it will show hotels in this area.

Though, our budget is around 150,000 a night, we're super poor these days, kind of sucks.

hong khong hotel on bue vien is great ,about 20 dollars a night they have a great staff and great food .

  5. My fiancie got the following forms from her consulate DS-156 - Non Immigrant Visa Application. However she and I don't know what to put in the following questions. She is coming here (if approved), and then we'll get married. Then she intends to study and work. However I've heard some people say put no in those questions on the form, but I'm not sure. I'm kinda of lost cause of why they'd make you fill out those questions, know the person is coming over and going to get married. So knowing most of you have gone through this, I'd like to know what you, or your fiancé put down. Any help would be appreciated. This is for the K1 visa. Thanks.

i think they should have sent some instructions on that it seems they made some changes and asked not to but any nones or n/a but to leave those areas blank that are n/a

    DS-156

How long do you intend to stay in the U.S?

What is the purpose of you trip?

Do you intend to work in the U.S?

Do you intend to study in the U.S?
