You have to make the appointment for fingerprinting they don't make one for you
https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-mx/iv/information/iv_services
If you have an attorney he will register here and onced logged in he can pick a date a time. I'm sure you can do it too but If you have an attorney just sit with him and have him do it. Make sure he puts your email because it's the email they will use to let your know when your passport is ready to pick up. It will actually be on the same place you get your finger prints done if you chose to wait for your package in CD Juarez.

Hi Zurdo,
I got the letter for my spouse interview but there is nothing on finger printing. Do you get a separate letter?
Your attorney needs to schedule finger print appointment. For the medical exam you don't need appointent. Just make sure you are done with medical and finger prints a good day before the interview.

So initially I posted about the possibility of running into an immigrant agent when going to interview in Juarez. At the end we decided to just risk one time instead of 2 airports. So we flew from Atlanta to Monterey. Yesterday after receiving package we went straight to the Zaragoza bridge so my wife could get the stamp then we spent the night in El Paso right next to the airport. Today Saturday we arrived at the airport around 11 and when we were going through TSA bag check I noticed a guy with green uniform and me so dumb told my wife look la migra. When my wife turn to look he noticed and just waited for TSA to scan our boarding passes and once finished he called us and said can I please see your visa. Lucky us but this was a domestic flight from El Paso to Atlanta.

Yea we have all the paper work except the copy of the affidavit of support. But I'm taking my taxes as well as w2s and pay stubs im sure that should be enough
And if it makes you feel any better a lot of people get approved. Like %90 percent and a lot of the ones that don't get approve on the spot are told to just bring whatever they are missing and they will get approved. With your 601A in hand and no record their isn't really anything that will prevent your wife from returning. They need to have a legal reason to not allow her back in.

U don't know how patently I'm waiting for us to be in your shoes..congrats! And god bless
Thank you. I will not tell you OOOO don't worry Don't be nervous because its not the same when someone that already on the other side of the fence tells you. We where told a lot not to be nervous but it didn't work. The best thing to do is just to be prepared with your documents and have at least that peace of mind.

So I am starting to prepare the documents for the AOS and I am a bit corcerned about the vaccination. I had my medical done in Mexico a month ago, I got all the vacinnation required there, so I know all I need to do now is get a USCIS doctor to fill the form and put it in a sealed envelope, the thing is I called one of them and they started listing a bunch of HIGH prices for it. Starting with 350 for the examination (Which I am sure I do not need) and other fees which I didn't understand.
If you did K1 visa and filled for AOS, how much it cost you to get the form filled by the civil surgeon?
The minimum with no vaccines at SMDF $220. My wife had 2 vaccines. Total $375.

Our interview was on Wednesday. Email on Friday at around 1pm with tracking number. We went but they said to come back in an hour. In the mean time we packed and booked a hotel a few feet from the El Paso airport. Got the package and asked one of the taxi drivers to take us to the Zaragoza bridge and he said that he could go into El Paso. Took about 2 hours to get the stamp. Cap driver waited patiently(got a tip). We checked in at the El Paso hotel around 6:30.(wife&I) We will leave tomorrow on an non-stop flight to Atlanta.

Have you tried callling?
I haven't. I think I will try today after lunch. Hopefully I hear from them today. We are eager to leave good thing we are going to be able to return. A few people who missed things like original birth certificate where not approve right away, but were told to go get it and once they had it they would approve. My wife was only asked for 2 things: original birth certificate and original marriage certificate, but she did hear other people being asked for things like: additional affidavit of support because the one they had didn't cover the amount on the house hold size. Taxes, and one person if they had bank account. My wife was able to hear 10+ interviews before her turn. Your wife will too. You can listed to everything and know right away the agents that are friendly and the ones that aren't. She said there was this guy that everyone was praying not to get. He wasn't necessarily denying but he was unprofessional and unfriendly. Like if he was working for free or was forced to work there. To her surprise most are under their 30s. You would think that something that can change your life forever would be handled by someone in their 50s. Crazy thing is that some agents would even make jokes which is good. But good thing that when we prepared the 601a and now the interview we prepared for the toughest in each department. In other words people should go with all they got. We had a little trouble and were stressed about the Mexican police report which at the end they didn't asked for, but we have no regrets because some people were asked for it. So it's always better to have extra everything.

My wife had her interview yesterday and the status changed to issued late evening. We decided to receive our package here in CD Juarez so we can get it quicker at the ASC(same place they take finger prints. I have hear some people don't get the waybill number and just show at the pick up location and they sometimes have it. Has anyone recently picked-up theirs without a waybill once status changes to ISSUED.
Thank you

Congratulations!!!! I'm glad to hear that everything went well. Please let me know as soon as you write a review on your experiences. Will you be waiting in CDJ for your package? If so, let me know how long to wait is for the package. I'm very happy for you.
I'm currently at 12 days after confirming CC waiting for an interview date.
Yes, we will wait here in Juarez and just cross to El Paso once we get it. I will keep you posted.

i too came after my 17 bday my i-601 got approved and my lawyer is prepering the next forms, i am fraking out about the police certificate cuz i got no family members down in my home town, was it listed in the list for the interview? i am sorry the first is off topic, my aunt got her medical at the servicios de la frontera and said it was very respectful personel
We got ours from her home state. But I heard some people got to it from this place in CD Juarez. Wife had her medical done already, next week is her interview. I need a sit down and write a separate review for Services Medicos De La Frontera(The Best, but not the lady the that takes your money). The drives who pick you up and drop you off from hotel, the nurses, all the staff is awesome. But look into getting your police certificate. Maybe someone from you family know someone that can help you.

We had a good experience at the airports. In Dallas just showed his passport and boarding pass and asked no questions. when we got to El Paso while waiting for our ride we did see a border patrol car but thats it. on the way back at El Paso he showed his passport and boarding pass to the TSA lady and right next to her was a border patrol officer but he didn't ask anything either.
When you or ur husband went to servicios Médicos did thet staple a small green paper on the P4?

I believe it can be in the same language as the country you're in, but I'm not totally sure.
Did you translate any documents?
I figure it might be better to be safer and do it although it might cost some money.
Only birth certificate, but will get police cert too just in case. This guy on YouTube said they did ask for his translated.
13 minutes ago, telacanizales said:No he just took the paper they gave him they didn't say anything about the translation
Thank you. I'm probably going to take translation just in case

He came here when he was 17 they made him get it anyway and they asked for it he said , I've heard others say they never asked but In Juarez they did.
Did you have to present an English translation of the Mexican police report ?

How about if I dint make a copy of the affidavit I just sent it to NVC? Should I take a new affidavit to the interview?
I would if I was you. Hey do you know if the Mexican police certificate needs to have an English translation ?

That is a tricky question. If you have sufficient income then she can just mention to them that she has an updated AOS due to a mistake on the old one.
Maybe. Hope someone that has had a similar experience can see this and share. Thank you KaurM

Yes I would recommend taking an updated Affidavit of support to the interview. If they ask for one then present the updated on and let them know why you had to update it. If they don't ask then well and good. Better safe than sorry.
But if my wife doesn't present it before they ask is that lying or hiding?

Hello!
We have out interview appointment next week and as I was going over paper work noticed my attorney left out a section where it reads that if you have previously sponsored someone to add the number in the box(which I did 1 person 7 years ago). Then total it as the end of section 5. Sponsor Household Size. Well he left that out and it's 2 when it should be 3. We have enough income to cover so that's not a problem. My question is can I bring a revised one to the interview even if they haven't asked for one. This is really taking our sleep away and we want to clarify before they think that we are trying to lie. Like I said our income covers and there is no need for us not to clarify.
