Yeah beneficiaries can call nvc. I forgot what order you have to press. I think its something like 1 for english, and then select whatever option is immigrant visas, think its number 5 if i remember correctly( it may not be 5, been a while for me)

Thanks for the replies. Ive been busy so didnt get a chance to update. I used my aunt in law as a cosponsor and it was never brought up or an issue. They just took both the i134 and tax papers.

Did you download the i-129f from the offical government site? I know some people that downloaded from elsewhere and the pdf has been modified. If you still cant type it in, then you can you hand write that in later. Whatever you cant type, can be hand written

I didnt sumbit chat logs during the initial i-129f. I sent passport stamps, copies of airline tickets, a timeline( 5 pages, dont overdo it), and 5 pictures. I did print out chat logs for the interview but they never asked for it. We got approved last week with no problems, and from vietnam

Go under settings, calls and messages, email message history and email it to yourself. Print it from there, it should have both phone numbers on it

Anytime they request something more is considered an rfe. RFE just means "request for evidence "

You can do the ds-160 whenever you want now. It should be valid for a year once submitted. We waited until NVC sent it to the consulate just to be sure though. Thats what most people will recommend. You only need the WAC number to complete it not the case number the NVC gives. Although i keep reading people say that

It sounds like you are probably good to just file for the k1. Yeah she only visited you once but you have visited her 4 times already, so thats a great case. Just try and keep evidence like plane tickets, receipts, photos and chat/call logs. I visited my fiance 3 times and we just got apporved today, so you should be good.

No we didnt do that. Just list the dependents that is on his tax return. But your fiance will be factored into it when figuring out if he hits the proverty line.

You do have a legit question so just wait for someone with experience more recent to answer back with you. Alot of people are having the same issue with the middle name being the first name when the paperwork is done. I know the paperwork they sent to my fiance was exactly like what you said. And from the research i have done, this is how they are going to do it from now on so it matches the vietnamese passport (they did this around a year now i believe). I havent gotten to the AOS so i cant comment much about it. If you find out how to do it, please post an update for future reference. Thanks

Have you tried asking in you regional section? They may be of more help since they will know how your consulate works more.

Some people had their cases reapproved again because USCIS sent their petition to NRC ( or something like that, cant remember) instead of NVC. So USCIS gave them a new approval date so they will have a later expiration date as well.

I dont remember us having to put in another receipt number. When you pay for it, the interview should open up for you in 24 hrs. 48 hrs if you paid it after a certain time of the day. NVC gives you the case number not the receipt number. So if you already paid then the receipt number should already be attached to the account.  Atleast in my experience . It should also be in your deposit slip, its called " So Hop Dong"

You do not need to send in the i-134 with the petition. The beneficiary ( you in this case) will bring it with you to the interview. Which will most likely be 6+ months at the current pace after you file. Its better to wait until you get closer to the interview to prepare for that, cause they want to know what his income will be at that time, not 6 months before the interview.

If you go under more in viber.  Then settings. Then calls and messages. You can then email it to you and print it. Thats what i did

Was she able to complete the medical exam without the one vaccine that was out of stock? We don't live in HCMC and I'm anticipating having to travel to and fro to check all the boxes :/

No problems with the medical. The doctor that did the vaccination said if it doesnt come in time, then we can get it when we are in the states.

Just asked my fiance and the last one is 620,000. So total for us was 2,780,000. She didnt have any vaccination records before this and she is 22, hope that helps.

It was 2,160,000. Thats excluding one vaccination that is still out of stock at the one recommended by the consulate.

I'm curious if this is for the 'Medical Assessment' at one of the two qualified hospitals, rather than the vaccinations which can only be administered at the International Health Quarantine Center of HCMC.

Yeah you're right i misread the post, my bad. Vaccianations actually depends on if she had any perviously or not.  When we tried to ask how much before we did it, they just said it depends on what state she will be living in, which i didnt know even mattered.

My fiance just went last week. It was about $220. 4,890,000 dong. Good luck

You should call everyday at 2 weeks. It may take longer but it could be that soon. And 2 months, that depends on your country and how they process it. Some take longer and some can be done within 1.5 months (if prepared properly)

I think every country has a different process. What country Is the beneficiary from? I can post up a link where you can post your question and people from your country will probably have a better idea for you

Haha yeah. you run the numbers so you will definitely know what's going on better then me. Just makes me upset to think that its taking so long for may to finish. And the thing about them doing april and may together and thats why it slowed down. Im pretty sure they will start dipping into june soon and then it will just be may/june combined. Which will suck for the people still waiting.
