What? U serious? We had ours in Yakima like Iike I mentioned before and were approved immediately by IO on the spot even before leaving the office. I was hoping you and spouse would get approved as fast and promptly as we did. So IO signed for EAD approval and not GC? Weird.

She did explain the process to get the conditions removed and that we should start gathering evidence for that, my husband says she said we are approved.. But I was so nervous and out of it that I wasn't listening! Nothing was changed in the app so I'm still waiting...

    Hi guys,
I had my interview today scheduled at 1:00 pm. We arrived there around 12:40pm. the parking was really bad and we had to walk a little to get to the building. We waited for couple of minutes. We were called around 1:35 pm, finished around 1:40ish. 😁

First set of questions are just all about basic questions in the new I-485 Parts 1-5 then Part 8 😊 Mine was an old form so first part of I-485 and G325A. Some questions asked were :
    • How do you like Ohio?
    • Who's living with you?
    • Who attended on your wedding?
Then after, she asked if I want to give other evidence that I want to include so I just gave her pictures. She kept the family picture (with our dog, she asked what's the name of our dog haha), wedding pictures, picture of me and my husband's family, a picture of me and my husband taken in Hawaii then a pic taken in Ohio. ❤️ She didn't ask my husband anything at all. 😂😂
She said we're recommended for approval and she'll final approved me at the end of the day. She explained that I'll be getting a 2 year one since we're married for less than a year.
God is soooo good! ❤️❤️ Just hoping to get an approval notification soon!

    Received date - June 19,2017
    Biometrics - July 12,2017
    Interview - August 28,2017
    Cleveland, Ohio

We had our interview yesterday at 10:20 in Yakima Wa. We got in at 10:25 and were out of the interview at 10:40. All questions were from the I485 and a few security questions. My husband was requested to tell about our relationship and was asked where was I born, she asked me the same about him. Asked if we fight and if we have additional evidence- we vave her insurance cards Last pay stubs and mobile phone invoices. I was shaking and had a complete blackout, forgot to give her the car insurance and affidavits we collected..

At the end she signed us on a paper for the I751 and she told us the she needs to review the case by the end of the day and that we will get informed as soon as the system gets refreshed. Still got nothing.

My advice to you- try not to be nervous, I really don't know what came over me but it was awful 😣 and it couldn't have helped the situation..

It arrived today via USPS! Finally things will get a little easier for us from now on. Its been a long wait since I129F, although not as long like most people here who haven't received any news yet. But things will get processed soon everyone, just be a little more patient.

    Good luck friends! 😊

Happy dance! I'm so excited to see your timeline! This is so encouraging 🙌 Best of luck to you two and see you when we remove our conditions 😂

    Hey guys!

Our I-485 Application to adjust status was APPROVED today at the INTERVIEW!!!!

    Field Office: Yakima WA USCIS

    Interview date: 08/15/2017

    Interview approved: 08/15/2017

It was really simple, nothing too complicated or to worry about really...I'm the petitioner, and I wasn't asked any questions at all which was weird. I was so prepared, I took every document listed on the interview NOA letter and more. I even took with me plenty of relationship evidence and even my marriage license. I wasnt asked for any of that nor did IO bothered to ask to see it. He only asked my husbands passport and my ID. IO asked my husband questions about the I-485 application previously submitted to make sure no important fact was left out. IO asked security clearance questions instead of relationship questions or dates.

    "Have you ever been arrested?"

"Have been involved in a gang, mafia, or been part of human trafficking?"

" Did you ever forced onto someon sexually?"

"Are you or been involved in the Military?"

"Have you had any conflict with any IO in the USA?

"Are you involved in espionage against the USA?

    " Have you operated firearms?"

    "Do you have children?"

Since my husband doesn't speak English and IO called an official approved interpreter to interpret for him. IO didn't want me to interpret the security clearance questions for obvious reasons. After that section of questions, I was able to interpret the rest of his questions to my husband. Then finally the moment of truth, he said everything submitted was properly completed and approved, that he would also approve our I-485 for his conditional green card. IO shook our hands and told us he would get his GC in less than 10 days, that my husband can start looking for a job and apply for his social security. I was like, oh officer, we have his SSN long time ago! He just laughed and said goodluck to both of us! Yayy!!! Then he said, oh yeah let me see your wedding pictures...(after he had already approved us) IO looked at a few and didnt even see all of them. He said that way I can noted it that I at least looked at them lol. Wierdo.

The moment I walked out the office and was getting in the car, I received a USCIS email and Text notification that the card was being ordered and its in production!!!!!

So happy and excited for you two! 🤗🤗

Hi Update: I rang the USICS today i escalated it to a Tier 2 officer.. and they still couldn't confirm they received my fax?.. i faxed it twice and it came back ok on the transmission receipt. so i emailed them back again and ask them to kindly confirm they received my fax. the officer has advised to call back on Friday to see if they have received and reached a decision on the expedite. I know also have a Infopass appointment scheduled for  1.00pm at the Texas field office so i will take all documentation to that appointment hopefully all is approved by the 22nd august... so hard just to get a confirmation out of them.. have you had any updates from your side ?

I'm waiting for physical mail that is planned to arrive by the end of the week, If it won't get here by then I will call again. I do have an interview scheduled for the 28th of Aug, I hoped I'll get there with the EAD.. we're is the office you faxed to? Mine is the NBC in Missouri.

ok great thanks! i just rang them and they said that the escalate officer T2 are not accecpting any calls to tomorrow, so i will ring again in the morning and let them know that i need to confirm they recieved the fax.. and need a update on the expidite approvel. its just getting close to my start date.... i will keep you updated :) so your expidite got approved and will recieve the card in about 10 days they said ?

I hope so, he did say it will arrive by mail but I see a lot of people getting the card in process mail first, I need to get it by the last week of Aug so I can get a SSN to get license and Background check to start working. so I'm positive it got approved and just playing the waiting game lol. I will call again on Wednesday if I don't vet any updates, just to make sure everything is on it's way.

Hi I also requested to expedite... I requested on the 8th august. The next day the USICS reqested for the evidence since im doing on severe finacial loss to company as i have been asked to work for a company here in international BDM.. also severe fiancial loss to individual as i cannot work to i get my EAD and my start date is september 4th 2017 at new job.. i faxed all the documentation the same day and it kept saying server busy or offline... i then tried for the seventh time and said 'ok'.. my questions are 1) can i ring to confirm they recieved ? also how long to they will come back with a answer ?

Hi! I had the same questions,

So first-They have no direct phone number and do not receive calls at all. I tried to email them back but got no answer so you can try but I doubt anything will happen.

I did call the Uscis call center and requested to escalate a week later so I can know that the fax came through. They referred my to Tier 2 Immigration officer that did say it was approved and I will get an updated in the mail in 10 days, so soon:)

Try and call the Uscis call center and get them to escalate your case so you can get answers. Let me know if you need anything else. Oh and keep us updated😎

  11. Hi all I have some updates for you!

    EAD expediting request:

On Aug 2nd I have called Uscis and requested to expedited due to sever personal financial loss. I have been in the US since February and didn't work at all, quit my job and was eating all my savings to pay my student loan. I did go to a job interview which I received a request for SNN from in order to do a background check. So I explained it all to the representative on the phone which raises the SR and told me to wait up to 10 days for additional information.

Got an email back 4th of Aug requesting me to fax all the evidence to them, which I did by the end of that day- bank account balance, loan information, a cover letter that explains the situation and the email from the employer asking for the SSN to start process and offer Job after background check.

Same day the case was transferred to an officer and closed.

Waited till Aug 10 and called again, they know nothing at the call center, you will need to request to escalate to an officer which will have all the information.

I have been approved but it will take another 10 days to get it updated in the system.

Keep a close look on your case, expediting does not hurt your timeline!

Btw, my husband is the petitioner and he is the only one on our affidavit of support. I have seen people saying that he has to provide and since he is the only one we will not get approved for expediting. NOT TRUE!

    Hope I helped!

I think I'm overly prepared lol. Husband was able get a SSN once he entered USA with his K1 Visa. I was able to add him on everything prior to that, as beneficiary on my bank accounts even before his SSN like my 401k, car insurance and PUD utility bill. No need for a SSN to do these things, he was just requested more identification. I even added him as my fiancee on rental lease agreement. Now that we are married, I updated him on the lease as my husband. Since he has has a social, I will update my accounts and list him as a signer instead of beneficiary in case of death.

Thank you! You have me more stuff I can get!

No, ours is Aug 15th in the morning. Best of luck to both! I hope we get approved that day! 😊

That will be amazing! I've prepared almost everything, we just couldn't add me to his bank account since I don't have SSN and on the electrical bill they added me but the invoices still arrive on his name, we did add me to the house lease and we have email, cards, photos and affidavits to show as proof, what about you? Were you able to get everything?

    Hi guys,

It has been close to a year and half since we filed beginning of April 2016 and there has been zero movement on the file. Filed a service request and didn't get any response till we filed again. The response was that the delay was due to caseload issues not related to our case. Now my EAD/AP renewal is also beyond normal processing time and my job is on the line. Any suggestions what we can do? Or does anyone know why the NBC is so slow? Seeing some of these super fast timelines is nerve wracking when one seems to be stuck.

    Thanks in advance :)

Raise an SR for the EAD and contact your Congress representative and ask for immigration liaison to help, I've seen a few cases get expedited like that

    Hey guys,

For those with interviews scheduled, how long after your case status updated to "ready to be scheduled for an interview" did your interview get scheduled?

For those with interviews scheduled, how long after your case status updated to "ready to be scheduled for an interview" did your interview get scheduled?

We got the interview scheduled without waiting, I guess there isn't a long wait in Yakima's filed office in Washington

Thank you in advance and congratulations!!! 😊

    Sure Gabi!

My case number starts with MSC and my biometric was in Yakima Washington state, still don't know where the interview will take place but I will update as soon as I get the letter.

Thanks, oh I see. Just a bit worried they all say I-797 and not their actual form names

Don't  be, you can go online to the uscis website and check your case status, there you will see the actual form number and status. Also in about a week you will get you NOA1 in the mail so you will have it in a hard copy as well 🤗
