  1. Please guide me on this, I am spouse of US citizen currently applying for removal of conditions on my green card, should I pay biometric fees or not. This is what instructions says :-

Biometric Services Fee. 1. Conditional Resident. Each conditional resident and conditional resident dependent included in the principal petitioner’s Form I-751 is required to submit a biometric services fee with this petition, in addition to the required filing fee. (See the What Is the Filing Fee section of these Instructions.)

    2. U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident Spouse. If you are the U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident spouse, you do not need to include a biometric services fee at the time this petition is submitted.

If USCIS later notifies you that you must submit your biometrics, you will receive a biometric services appointment notice with instructions on how to submit the additional fee.

I need help, please,  We had our interview in June 2019 after the interview the passports were kept. But they needed a new joint sponsor which we submitted after a couple of days. They took almost 5 months to review after that they need a few more documents and then just recently A new medical reports for all of us which we submitted on Dec 30th, 2019 now it's been 2 weeks but documents haven't been reviewed yet. We sent an inquiry email and in the reply, they said it's in administrative processing and we have to wait. How long should we wait we have been waiting for so long but this AP doesn't want to stop. Our status is ’’READY” the are updating the dates but status is the same since November 2019.

Can you please let me know how did you contact them and what did you write in email?

It could be any reasons from "the immigrant visa section chef runs off to Cambodia with his mistress so no visas until after the new year" to "We need to do a background check" to "we ran out of the secret ink for the visa printing machine", or no reason at all. The truth is no one knows. The State Department has offered no reason whatsoever. They say "It'll be done when it's done and we will let you know when it's done".

It doesn't have to say "Administrative Processing" for it to be under administrative processing.

    I see

It says 'Immigrant visa application is at NVC' whereas the ceac account is showing accepted at everything. Do you have the I-130 visa case and where are u from?

Yes we are from Karachi originally and living in Georgia right now

My MIL & FIL case is pending at Islamabad embassy for visa issuance

Don't know what's the issue and whom to contact

    Ceac website says case ready

The short answer is "no", and the long answer is "no, there is no way to know until they issue the visa". Sorry.

But is there any reason for delay?  Like the case status doesn't say it's under AM nor its asking us any further documents and there is no quota for parents

So we don't understand the reason for delay.

Since it is Pakistan you can either contact the consulate (use email) or wait and wait.

We did email but no response

I have i-130 immigrant visa case which have been documentarily qualified since 23Nov19 and it has been 27 days waiting for an interview.

I have heard that some people get their interview in 2 months after being documentarily qualified.

When I will receive my interview date I am going to post up here.

What does your ceac status says?

I would like to know base on this information how long more i would have to wait for my interview date.

Its totally depends on your embassy, ours took only four days and we got the interview email. But interview date will always be after 30 days
