Keep checking online for appointment dates. I don't know about the first time interviews, but I do know we had to schedule our second interview online. They will send you an email saying you are able to schedule your interview...Good luck!!!

That's how I'm looking at it, at least we will be together..But I want him home

I leave on Monday for Ghana and my husband's interview is Thursday. Please keep us in your prayers.

They both look good and well written

Mine was just letters from my family welcoming Lawrence into the family, and stating that they've seen how much we love each other. No I didn't have them all notarized.

Truly I believe that the Ghana embassy tests us to see if we'll give up because so many do. It can be a very long waiting game.

Our case was reaffirmed and is now back at the Embassy. We are checking the web site daily for an appointment to open up. It's been a long hard journey, but one I would do all over again for my husband. Just a word of advice, if you get denied, don't get in a hurry to be reaffirmed, it's a slow process. My husband was denied on Aug 17, 2016 and we are not now back at the embassy for a second interview. Hang in there!

Our is in Nebraska. It took 13 months from the time USCIS got our case back that we received our NOIR. Then once they received our updated documentation, it took 60 days for them to reaffirm us. It's now on it's way to the NVC then onto the Ghana Embassy
-
HI everyone...I see this forum has been slow...I am hoping that means everyone got approved? Just saying hi!
-
Well I have all my added documentation to send to USCIS, I pray it's enough to get him reaffirmed. Prayers please!!
-
It sat at USCIS for 11 months before they sent the NOIR. And I called all the time asking them to please address our case. They don't consider returned cases a priority and they just sit.
-
We got our NOIR and we are working on gathering more evidence to send them. I pray and ask for your prayers that he will be reaffirmed for another interview.
-
Thank you!! I can't thank you enough for your insight and encouraging words. I feel so blessed to have found this sight and all of you. I think I would go insane with you all

Yes..and I'm trying not to be upset.

OMG I just checked the status on the USCIS website and it's updated saying we sent you a notice to revoke your previous approval.....OMG now what?
-
Yes, I make copies of everything

I'm going to give them the 60 days from the date of this last letter then I am calling my senators office. I told the last agent that an agent from the Visa center told me to call them every week until something happens. So after the 60 days I will be calling and calling until we hear something.
-
I had planned on flying over to fly back with him, but I think being there for the interview is a good idea. I haven't got the NOIR letter yet, and when I talked to an agent she said it wouldn't hurt to go ahead and send more documentation, so I did, I sent copies of my last boarding pass, and my updated passport, visa, drivers license, SS card to prove my last name change. Along with more, updated photos, and over 40 letters from family and friends from both sides showing their support.
-
Oh no I will never give up..It's just hard as you know...Thank you for being there, I greatly appreciate it!
-
Is it possible to get reaffirmed? I was just talking to a woman who's husband has been denied twice. She said I should be prepared to receive an NOIR and to get denied again...I was so excited to get the news today that our case was finally moving again, and she really brought me down

Well after many phone calls to USCIS, I finally received a letter stating that our case has been assigned to an agent, and we should know within 60 days if he will be reaffirmed, or revoked. It's been SO long, I pray he is reaffirmed!!!!! It's been 11 months since USCIS received our case back from the embassy.
