Hello all. We have our adjustment of status interview coming up. We will need a translator as she speaks Spanish. I'm just trying to figure out if we need to setup our own translator over the phone or if they provide one in 2022. Do we find some body and bring the declaration with us with their phone numbers . Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

you probably already know this but i will add "its easier to change planes in Ft Lauderdale compared to Miami"

Hello all. Our K1 was approved in Santo Domingo finaly. I went to her interview and got approved that day. I couldn't stay until she was able to pick up the passport so unfortunately I had to come home for work. Now the question is, can she come here on her own or do I need to go down and accompany her back? I can't seem to find concrete info on this topic. If anyone could assist that would be great

Hello all. Just had a medical exam done in DR. With the exam and vaccines necessary vaccines came to $506. May of 2021. In case any one wanted to know. This was for k1

I was present with my beneficiary for the interview, there was no issue with both of us entering the building. In fact, the majority of the people in for interviews that day had both the petitioner and beneficiary present. I think it was a benefit for both of us to be there as the interviewer asked us both questions about each other, each others family, how we communicate, how we met etc. The whole process from waiting in line to enter the building, handing in our documents and having our interview took a total of about an hour.

 

During our interview the only additional information I was asked for was additional pictures, which I provided 8-10, the woman looked over them and then gave them back to us. The interviewer was very nice and was easy to talk to. Our case was very tight from the beginning and we had loads of extra documents and evidence so our experience was quick and easy. My fiance was nervous but I was not. The process was actually much easier than I expected.

 

At the end of the interview the woman interviewing us told us the visa was approved. On Monday of this week, my fiance picked up her visa and sealed information packet from the Gazcue center without issue.

Good day. Just wanted a little clarification on what's going on with my case. Hopefully someone can help. We received NVC clearance for our k1 in March. We have received and email that my fiance has to go to an interview (santo domingo) at this end of this month.  She has gathered all documents. We have done the d160. We have our appointment for medical and VAC. Also finishing to prepare the financial packet. Now my question is.. is this interview "THE BIG INTERVIEW"  will they approve or deny this day or will there then be a second interview for the both of us? (I do understand it would strengthen the case if I am present.) Could this first interview be the deciding day?

Hi. Does anyone know how case inquiries process works? November 2016 filer here for k1. Case was transferred from California to Vermont in March... 2 weeks ago filed an inquiry for NO2. Under my account it says it was received, then given to an officer, then it says completed. I haven't received any email, nor text notification, or any type of response. Do these  responses come in the mail?  It was marked on the 27  and today is the 29 so I wasn't sure if I should try calling ,  checking the mail, or what my next option would be if I don't hear anything soon.

Hello everyone. First time posting here. I've been browsing these forums the last few days and just wanted to reach out say hello talk about my situation mabye get some insight . November filer here. Papers sent November 16 2016. NOA1 was November 25. It's been a stressfull pass few months. But I felt a little better seeing @Andsco be approved today with the same NOA1 date. Congratulations to you hope you keep rolling smoothly. On March 23 recived a transfer  notice to the Vermont service station. Really going through these forums there's been hardly any movement through Vermont. Kind if really nervous about it. Disappointing to see it move from California.  I also will add I did file with an IMBER and had an attorney file for me to avoid any errors. Any insite, or support would be great. Thanks!
