I have never heard of that. What is your DQ date?
Not sure, this is a second interview, I had an approved waiver last year, so not sure of what’s going to happen once I turn in the papers

Two weeks a got an email saying that they checked my case and that I wont need an interview and I just need to turn in some papers to the consulate in Juarez (medical, police certificate, fill out my DS260 again, bring passport and money) have any if you heard about this new procedure?

Hi, Can you tell me please what phone number you called. I've tried to call the Juarez consulate and can only get recorded messages.
Thanks
Hi
656 344 3003 This is the number to schedule appointments, and they give you information about your case, when you provide case number and other personal
info.
Good luck

Also,
Last week they consulate sent me an email saying that they reviewed my case and that I don’t need an interview, I just need to bring some documents to the consulate and that I will shortly receive a letter from them at the CAS in CDMX with instructions. MY waver got approved last year and been waiting for an interview since then, I had it for March 22nd but it was canceled and got this email. Still waiting for the letter to arrive.
Has anyone have had this experience before?
I will really appreciate any insight in this new process..
Best

Hello!
That’s great, I already have it, I just need to print it then, and another question, do I have to translate it to English or just in Spanish is ok?
Thanks

Hello everybody!
I have a question!
the consulate is asking me to bring a police certificate or “carta de No antecedentes penales” to the consulate.
I live in CDMX and currently through Covid they are issuing this certificate online. Does anyone here knows if that’s is the correct certificate?
In their website it sayscCuando sea solicitada por una embajada o consulado extranjero en México, o bien, a través de una embajada o consulado de México en el extranjero.
And my digital police certificate says
I am not sure if this is enough or if I need to try to get an in person police certificate.
Hoping someone can share some light
Thank you!

Hello!
i just got my appointment for March 22nd. I called on friday and they offered me that date. I am going for a follow up interview that was originally scheduled for march 31st 2020.
My waver was approved last year at the end of January.
does anyone here has experience with follow up appointments? I got a letter last year saying I need a new medical exam, fill up the DS-260 and thats it.
If you guys have any recommendations on a follow up appointment please let me know. I’ll really appreciate it :) -

Hello everyone,
my waiver I601 was approved on january 28th, now we are getting ready for the interview which will be on march 31st at the Cd.Juarez consulate.
I am looking for some insight on how this interviews go, what kind of questions do they ask and if its possible to get a refusal.
My I601 waiver was for fraud and misrepresentation.
the embassy only asked for a new medical exam and to get my DS 260 updated... no taxes or affidavit from my husband, no police record or no fingerprints.
please let me know if you have any info that could be helpful.Thank you and best luck to all of you

@Beatriz and Luis Hi I also going Thur the same. I had my interview 9/07/2017. (México cuidad juarez).. I was refused/denied my visa also. I filed for my i601 already and got my Congress person involved also. Spoke to a lawyer and said that helps. Waiting for respond back from Congress person. Hopefully by Tuesday..
I was denied because I had 1 misdemeanor for recieving stolen goods. But I had my i601A approved before coming. Did you have your i601A approved? When I filed USCIS said I only needed my i601(A) waiver. Mexico said otherwise.(that’s what the my lawyer told me) From what my lawyer told me i601 waiver process is 4-6 months to get an answer. I’m currently in Michoacán waiting for an answer. It’s been almost 6 months now, my mistake was not filing the i601 waiver back in September. I suggest you get it done ASAP.
Did you file file with a lawyer or on your own?
are you going to file with a lawyer?
i recommend speaking with a lawyer because there a lot that plays to get an i601 approved..
Hi there!
I havent filled yet. Still getting the money together to get the process started, how many months later did you file your I601 waiver after finding out you needed one?
Whats the extreme hardship that your relative is suffering if you dont mind me asking?
we are still figuring out this things... its gonna be a loooong wait.
Do you have a lawyer that you can recomend?
Thank you

Hi there!
My visa was denied due to fraud and willing missrepresentation, in jan 11th
I have to file an I 601 and we found a lawyer... its super expensive so we think we’ll do it in the next month or april. I am in mexico and my husband in NY.
I know its gonna take us a year and a half to be together aftef we file. Any one here from Mexico who’s dealing o dealt with the same problem who can give me an insight on the process? Can the visa still be debied after waiver aproval? Im really scared and i have very bad anxiety attacks every day. Just very upset.
Please if anyone has some good information about the process let me know.
Thanksss

Concentrate on quality evidence, not quantity. A few pictures is all you need.
What’s quality evidence for you? Hehe
I have everything we need regarding finincial documents, bank account statements, which i sometimes use in Mexico, dont use it much bc i have a job and im able to pay for my living here, but its under both of us.
Mmm what else?
Thank you!!

you're looking at Feb/March right now at the earliest
5 minutes ago, MrHanky said:yeah I kinda jumped the gun on that, they said its not actually valid until they generate an appointment letter and there's no telling when that will happen, they have my case but they said its not loaded in the system
its shared with other visa types, they only allocate a certain amount for cr-1
I dont understand why they are si backed up if people who got approved a month before us got interviews for november. Is there a way we can contact the consulate and get answers? Does anybody know??

Insane!!! I cant believe this, they are probably just not scheduling for cr-1 visa appointments at all then.

I have an expedite and I'm even waiting :-(
I wonder if this is the same reason USCIS had been backed up, because of the rush of applicants last year.
I thought u have an interview for jan 2nd

I logged into the green appointment website.
But how? Is this bc you got your case expedite? How can i check that? I keep calling the nvc and i dont get any information. We tried to expedite due the earthquakes but we were denied.
If you could give us more information it would be very helpful. Seems like people who got case complete in august had their interviews this month. There’s even someone from sept 1st cc who got an interview.
