Yaaaay!! Today makes 1 month since NOA1!! On to month 2!!!

 

Yay for vacations.  Gonna book my tickets next week to fly down and see my fiance for 9 days in July. I am super excited. That will be about halfway hopefully between now and Visa time so that should make waiting easier. Also since he works during weekdays it will give me a chance to get a lay of the land for when I finally do move down in the fall hopefully. Today is day 28 since our NOA1.

@AkesAngel is on vacay with her love, so I'll be waiting until she gets back so that we can compile our scans and then I can start on the daily scans. Our petitions aren't going to even be looked at for another few weeks, and those getting approved in Feb are most likely expedited cases. I know we have quite a wait for USCIS, but please be patient with me as well I promise to give y'all daily updates ASAP and will continue to run them until all March/early April files are done.

Yaaaayy!! It's been 24 days since our NOA1  😊 Let us all be positive that we won't wait that long. :))
I miss my Fiancé so much though :(( It's just really hard coz I haven't seen him in 5 months already ☹️ This 8,043 miles of distance from him sucks. If only I can teleport to him everytime I want 😔 i can't wait to see him again for the 2nd time,  one more parting ways at the airport soon, and hopefully, next time I'll be the one who will fly to him and it's Gonna be one way ticket ❤
So I'm hoping and praying that we'll all have a smooth process ❤ We'll all get through this! AJA! 😊

Yeah. And while waiting we are going ga-ga if we did it right .. 😂 When we cant do anything now 😟 But wait for a possible RFE because we all think our packet is not perfect. 😫😖😂😑

Well my fiance and I decided we could not wait until I move down there to see each other again, Skype is not enough. So I am planning on going down to visit him in Colorado sometime in July for 9 days. We will figure things out financially to do it. I miss him too much to wait until then. Shouldn't have a problem going down since I will have a return ticket and will only have my small suitcase. My boss already said she would type up a letter about how I have to be back at work on such and such date.

I guess it depends on the person reviewing the information and the forms. I truly don't think it'll be a problem. I left some boxes blank on the I-129F that didn't apply unless it stated in the sentence above the section to put None if it didn't apply. I'm sure we'll be fine and get our NOA2 within the next few months.... couple of months... NEXT MONTH!!

Ugh... now you got me thinking about our last hug... 66 days for us and now I just feel sad all over again. We did not get to have that tear jerking last moment because it was too chaotic at the airport (we actually flew out of different airports) and I hate to admit it, but I am kinda glad cuz I really did not want to be crying my eyes out at the airport  lol Even our last 24 hrs was REALLY tough for me though. I just kept trying to not think about it and then BAM! it would hit me in the face again. We also talked about me going to visit him, but, with my school and work, it really does not make sense when he should (fingers crossed) be here by the fall? (lol) nor does it fit.

I don't think that's weird either
Him and I are both used to live alone; when he was here we had a weekend-relationship as well. And since we text a lot and have our Sundayish facetime date, we don't get to miss each other too much. 
I'm good with this, it's certain moments when I wish to be there badly. But in daily life we're both good.. he's working 12 hours a day, I have a busy schedule.

It sounds so unromantic, haha!
 
Btw I just calculated: It's day 100 since I hugged him good bye, and we just talked about visits last night and kind of decided to save his leave days (and money) for when I arrive.
So the wait will be much longer. But I'm busy.... yet!

Congrats on everyone getting their NOA1's and for those who have already had a month pass by!
 
I'll be a month in, in about a week and a half. Hopefully the next 2 months go as smoothly.
 
In all honesty, I may actually be the only one appreciative of the time it's taking for the NOA2 :/ ... I just have a lot of things going on right now and even though it would be nice to have my fiance here, I'm appreciate of the space I have to myself. Maybe I'm weird lol

Well we might move again for my fiance's job. He works in Colorado Springs currently and was offered a better job at their place in Austin, TX but he turned them down because of me coming down. They said that next time one opens he will be first to be asked again so that's nice.
 
OMG I also hate miles, oz and F. lol But I guess we all gotta get used to it. but something I will never lose is my u's in words like colour, favourite, flavour. etc lol Although I do say Zeee instead of Zed like other Canadians as I went to nursery school in the USA when my parents lived down there. We never moved back to Canada til I was six. 
 
As for distance well I know I am not far because I do live in Canada compared to some of you all. I am only 1 hour ahead of him and its 16 hours to drive down there from where I am give or take traffic and 979 miles lol

I got text message and email. one part is done.

I finally received text and email today... was a long and painful 10 days waiting for that  lol Now for the wait on the hard copy so I can check the website. This whole next ... who knows how many months is gonna be nothing but a long wait, but, its already been 3 years, so this will be worth it to do it for a bit more =) The best wait of my life  hehe

I've just gone through the "What happens after NOA2?" thing....
It says you need a full copy of the petition.
I'm sure my fiancé didn't hardcopy it 1:1. I myself of course (German quality work ) have scanned my signed stuff. But I think he just saved the files he later printed and signed, so he can print it again and sign. I didn't specifically ask him yet (although I've "ordered" him to make everything tripple), but that's my assumption. 

Does this have any influence (if he re-prints and signs "freshly" with the original date), or do they want a 1:1 hardcopy of the original?

It still looks like my belongings are increasing overnight, haha!
For me it won't be the last move, since my fiancé has 7 more years of Army coming up. Our next move will be 2019... whereever to!

How did you guys meet?

4952 miles, 6 hours time difference and about 16 hours (if it goes smoothly) travel time between the two of us.

Random question as well:
I hate miles, feet, inches, oz and FAHRENHEIT.... argh! Those are things I'd like to import from Europe.
I'm wondering if I will ever get used to it!
What about you? Or are you using this weird stuff already?

I haven't seen my fiance since I departed on January 2nd. And I will most likely not see him until I come home for good. Long time. But we're doing surprisingly good with this (we're weirdos), and we made it through 8 months of being apart last year. 
Some days I hate waiting, some days I don't mind because I'm busy...and used to the LDR. 

I received my hard copy today as well.  Now for the silence
