Yeah, and being able to deal with a LDR isn't an easy thing. I'm surprised by myself that I can handle that so good. But it will remain difficult, since he will have to deploy again and then I'm probably sitting in Alaska or wherever, waiting for him to come home after 9 months.

No, we can't expedite because he's "only" stationed in the states. That would only work if he would be about to deploy. Thank goodness he got the joker card to be stationed in his hometown, in a school installation, so he doesn't have to deploy for as long as he's there. 

We matched on Tinder in... uhm... I think early 2014?!? 
I was just there to look around for people liking the same music... nobody believes me, but it's true.
I've had two really horrible relationships before, and had decided to stay single until I retire.
So we were talking, sometimes more, sometimes less, and every little thing that could lead to meeting in real was refused by me instantly.
If I had only known what a big introvert he is, and how much it had cost him to ask me if I want to come over for Taco Bell or so. "NOPE! I'M NOT ONE OF THESE!!!"

Haha, and even if there were weeks, sometimes months of no talks we never lost each other. That was meant to be... I decided to find him VERY nice and worth for a meeting in July 2015, and from that day on he owns my heart more than anyone ever did before. 
7 months later the army decided he can't extend his stay, and I had to drop him at Ramstein Airbase, not knowing when or if we will see us again. That was the hardest thing to do.
After 8 long months he settled and was able to get leave, so he gave me a ticket for my birthday and I flew "home" for the first time. 
Then we also flew to Utah to meet his family, and I was instantly adopted by these lovely people. After that we officially got engaged (we were "pre-engaged-plus-plus-uber-plus" before, because his parents wanted to meet me first ).

Rest... yeah. Waiting for my visa to go home to him and our two cats! <3

I'm not seeing him through the visa process. So all I do is take a screenshot with date of our weekly FaceTime, in case they need to see continuity. And I'll screenshot the call logs for the weekly facetime.

I can't screenshot facebook stuff, because he's only using the messenger to chat with me, and for the rest he's a Facebook dead body. Even if I tag him he doesn't react. He hates FB and is only on there to chat with me lol 

But I talked to a girl from my area who didn't travel either and she really only had those basics sent in that we have. No problem at all. 
Seems they have certain understanding for military members, because they have a hard time getting leave.
He wanted to come visit in April but it blew, because he didn't get leave. Now we decided to wait til the end and save his leave for wedding and visiting the family, as well as my vacation days are saved for getting there earlier.

He said sounds good and then asked where I work. I said where and he said what do you do. I said I am the Assistant Administrator. He nodded and said Welcome to the States have a good time. Most of the time when I tell them I am an Assistant Administrator at a public library they just nod and I am through. Probably because it sounds like a position I must come back to. I am sure if I had been working my old job as a Sandwich Artist they would have scrutinized me more lol

Haha yeah I brought a letter from my company on the last trip as well. Just to make sure, because there were only 3 months in between. Nobody wanted to see it though.
They asked me what my job is; I said I'm plant managers assistand and half of my job is human resources, so he pitied me and said I do deserve vacation, working in HR. Welcome to the United States.

I finally did tax for last year as well. But I won't get much, maybe 50$ back, but at least it's done. My utility payback is a bit bigger. Looking forward

If I'm not totally wrong you have to go the CR-1 way, meaning you have to leave the States and wait in the UK for it.

As far as I know you can only file AOS if you had a spontaneous wedding and then STAY there. I doubt that works after you left the US and came back. 

The pro's might correct me if I'm wrong.

I've put ours in a folder we here use for job applications.
Since I've read "No staples!!!", and heard about people just putting piles of paper in envelopes I've decided to the middle way. I'm German, so it has to be.... sorted haha. 
It's a folder where you just clamp it in. So it's fixed and sorted, but they can take it out easily.

I saw them waaaaaaaaaay back in time. In Cologne on a festival when they had their first album out (which was the only really good one in my opinion), that was Herzeleid 1996 or so!
Poor fans, so many people waiting for Rammstein at the Rock Am Ring, and then this happened....
The sisterfestival "Rock im Park" is 20 minutes from here. There they're playing tonight I think.

I was watching a live stream of Alter Bridge at Rock am Ring earlier today. And whenever Myles Kennedy walked off the big stage on the little riser in front, to get closer to the people, there was a guy with a VEST right beside him all the time. Terrifying. 
I'm glad there was no panic on Friday, when they had terror alert there and had 87.000 metal fans evacuated within 15!!!!!! minutes.
