You don’t need the letter for biometrics but the email works for the medical. The email is the only thing sent out no physical letter.

Hi you don’t need the interview letter for biometrics so you can go ahead and schedule that appointment now

Yes. I did it in Mumbai. They do tell you if everything is OK on the same day but you have to go to collect your reports the next day. 

The biometrics was quick. I was in and out in 10 minutes 

Just cleared my medical! Biometrics and medical, down. Interview March 20th, Mumbai consulate to go!

Hey! For all my Mumbai people and anyone else (not sure if the rules are the same?) for the biometrics appointment- Are you expected to take the email from NVC to your appointment? Because on the list of documents to bring that they provide it just says appointment letter, passport and DS260 confirmation. 

We haven’t got the email yet but I managed to get an appointment so I was wondering...

We don’t have an email yet. I only got an appointment for 2 weeks before my interview since they’re pretty booked. You have to take it to the appointment. You don’t need it to book an appointment 

Just scheduled our biometrics and got a date for the medical exam too😁

Dont' worry. They schedule according to the case completion. If your CC is on 15th. There could be more CC ahead of you. My CC was on Jan 12th, I got interview date on March 25th. Can you imagine the people you got CC on January 25th, they might not even get the schedule in Dhaka Embassy. In India, they have Mumbai and Delhi. Hopefully you will get yours. Because US embassies in India are faster than Dhaka. 

That’s what I’m hoping for too! Someone I know got their CC on December 28th and was scheduled for February 10th. That makes me believe hopefully there aren’t too many applicants and we have some hope  I will keep you posted!
