Interesting. Our first notice was via TEXT than shortly later email. I was surprised by the text as I thought it was only going to be email so I kept telling my Fiancé to check junk mail ha-ha but we did receive our NOA1 in the mail one week later which was nice.. better than this NOA2 wait, sigh .. starting to get nervious.  I really dislike that the online/ap version isn't working well because what if the mail goes missing what a nightmare that could be !

That's exactly my worries. Our petition was delivered to California in the first week of March, they are already giving approvals almost into the 3rd week of March.

Hello!  After about two weeks from your NOA2 date you start calling NVC ((603) 334-0700) to see if they have received your case and will give you a case number. Once you have that case number you will be able to track your case to the embassy at this website https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx. For the packets you should email the embassy for your fiance to see if that is possible - that would be something that varies from embassy to embassy. I know Peru emails it automatically, but others might not. Good luck with your journey!!

Thank you for the info. I've looked all these things up and understood them several months ago, but now that I'm actually going to start needing the information I couldn't find any of It.

  3. Hey guys, I've been reading a lot but haven't posted anything in quite a while. Now that we are starting to see some movement on march cases I have a couple questions. How do we get notified when these cases are received at the NVC and then sent to the embassy? How and when can we request having the packets delivered from the embassy to our beneficiaries by email instead of regular mail? I'm still running to my mailbox as soon as I get home from work looking for a NOA 2.

    Thank you!

I guess I should have put that in the post. I've always used daflores. I've had really good luck with them as the flowers arrive to her work by 11 a.m. most days and look pretty close to what they advertise. I was hoping someone here has had some experience with one of the places you mentioned.

Aww, I'm so happy you get to go see your fiance! Don't be nervous, everything will be just fine! Flights, are nothing.. It's all the waiting at the airports that'll make you go almost insane  I don't know if you're a praying person, but I'll be praying for your safe travels.

Thank you very much, prayers are always welcome. Fortunately if there are no delays then travel will be under 7 hours. Since October she has came several times and we've spent over a month in all together but this is my first time going to see her.

Did I misunderstand or this is NOA1 and we need to await a hard copy by standard mail?

I wish us all  a good luck in the proces and to be asap with our bellowed ones!

Congratulations! Yes that is your NOA1.

  7. This came from the I-129F instructions. Since the G-325a is a document being filed with the petition I do not think it needs to be an original. Maybe someone else has more experience with this though?

Copies. Unless specifically required that an original document be filed with an application or petition, a legible photocopy may be submitted. Original documents submitted when not required may remain a part of the record, and will not be automatically returned to you.
