Just got an interview date of march 8 A day before my birthday 

I have put a list together for everyone to review and add to that we all at some point need to take to the interview. Could you please let me know if I am missing anything?
 
The below + Bona Fide Evidence + any documents that NVC requests to bring to the interview from checklist if applicable. 
 
From my understanding, I-864 needs to original (signed) instead of copy but the other financial documentation should be photocopies.

Either passport or Nat certificate is okay.

i was reading again about the passport, i am little confused now. For family based visa, it is say this "Proof of the U.S. petitioner’s status and domicile in the United States (photocopy of a U.S. passport, naturalization certificate, or legal permanent resident card)." So i think it is good to bring copy of passport of the US spouse

There should be an option to pick up when you go online to select delivery method before interview , 
I believe my brother picked up his passport , and his was done in 3 days 

Got my CC today, and our embassy is in Iceland so I'm super excited and hoping for a quick turnaround with the interview scheduling. If it is fast, it will be the first fast thing to happen in this whole process!!!!
 
Although I really shouldn't complain, compared to being stuck in the Nebraska Service Center with USCIS, NVC was a breeze!

I called NVC yesterday, about my spouse case. If the interview has been scheduled or not. Lady congratulated me and told me the date is 1st March 2018 at 8:30 AM. Now today i am calling and they are saying there is NO interview scheduled yet. How can they give me wrong information.  Has this happened before to some one else ? Or may be they have scheduled me and now taken back the interview ? 

Based on my research, i see people getting passport back within a week or less. You get the packet after the interview i believe. i read somewhere that

Thats a good point you have made. If we get our interview date after April 15th we may want to take the 2018 tax returns documentation.
