Finally, appointment on March 22nd. How long is taking from appointment to naturalization ceremony in the MN office? The customary 3 years?

Same here: went from 28 days to completion to 6 months. Luckily I have a 10-year GC, but I’d like to vote this November…

Within 3 weeks my estimated time until case decision went from 2 months to 28 days (!) to 6 months (?). Ugh.

At this stage, am I the último hombre?
Not even close: my estimate is that I’ll be a citizen just in time to vote for K Harris’s second term.

Why would I have to defend (from what?) my green card, let alone bring a lawyer with me?

Everyone,
A year ago I filed for naturalization under the 3-year rule, just after the I-751 RoC was approved and I received a 10-year green card.
Today I received a message about my I-751 being transferred to a new office… but that case should be closed! I have a 10-year green card in my hand! Has this happened to anyone? Any idea what is happening? Case status of the naturalization has not changed since I applied.
Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Happy birthday to my N-400 submission! May 2022 be fruitful and bountiful such that the Twin Cities office clears its backlog and starts working on the *checks numbers* 2018 cases…

Happy Filing Anniversary, folks.
Am I the only one still waiting? Nothing on my case since March when it said my biometrics were being reused.
It still says 5 months until case successfully completed.
Sigh.

Still waiting here; my uscis office is the worst in the union (Minneapolis-St. Paul), so I expect to become a citizen just in time to vote for President K Harris second term in office…

Question: the estimated time shown on myuscis is an estimate of the time to completion from the day it was posted, or from the day the application was submitted? If today the website says that the estimated time to completion is 10 months, is it 10 months from today, or from the day my application was received?

Hi,
I changed my address using the AR-11 form online about 4 weeks ago. The process was smooth, and i received an email the confirming the change. However, my address in my USCIS account is still the old one. Is there anything else that I should have done in order to change my address?
Thanks!

I don't know about the slowest, but it is one of the slower ones that I have seen around here. Another factor is your location. If you are in ND, time to interview is higher from what I have noticed.
In regards to the 90 day rule. Yes, it applies, but you need to count it by the day, not by the month.I hope that helps!
Thank you for your answer.
I submitted my N-400 application today; crossing fingers for a quick (!) approval.

Hi everyone,
Now that the RoC is finished, I'm ready to file for naturalization! Two questions:
1) Is MSP still the slowest USCIS office in the Union? What's the realistic delay, 12-18 months for naturalization?
2) Does the 90-day-before rule also applies to naturalization? Say my GC says "Residence since: July 1 2016". Can I apply for naturalization on June 1 2021 (within 90 days before the eligibility date), or I have to wait until July 2 2021 or later?
Thanks!

It’s an Election Day miracle! Praised be democracy!
”On November 3, 2020, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number yada yada yada”
LIN service center, no interview because I had one for the previous GC. See you in the N400 threads!

I had my biometrics appointment today, but USCIS offices are closed until April 1 for general public. I did not go to the ASC for my appointment.
Me neither. I have a printscreen of USCIS webpage stating that the ASC offices were closed, just in case someone believes I abandoned my case... -
By the way, I have my biometric appointment on 3/23... great time to place my hands where hundreds have placed theirs!

Looks like the processing is going to take literally "forever" now.
Or... increased interview waivers! Interviews only for suspicious cases, or cases without a prior interview.

Quick question about the ceremony and the oath of allegiance: what do you have to do to skip the “so help me God” part? Is it a hassle? Is it too late to modify it after the interview?
